Ordered plants. Four of them arrived dead. I wrote noting their guarantee, and then sent me two plants (not four) to replace them. One of the two replacements arrived dead. So Ive learned my ******* just go to the local garden store!American Meadows, Inc. Response

We see that you contacted us upon arrival of your first shipment, and sent us this message: "We received this order but one of the plants was dead and one was almost dead (not sure if it will make it). Can I get a replacement?" - at that time, we did send you two replacement plants per your request which was confirmed by email. Our apologies if there were other issues we were not made aware of, we stand behind all of our products and would have gladly made it right if we had known there were any additional concerns.Your replacement was promptly shipped out as promised. We did process a refund for the additional replacement shipment as well, at your request, for the one plant that did not arrive in satisfactory condition. We are committed to both your success and satisfaction, and would welcome the opportunity to address any additional concerns you may have. We have built our company on high quality products, timely shipping and excellent customer service. We regret this was not your experience and hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust and business in the future.

Unbelievable incompetence I ordered two trays of 32 potted plants as well as three trays of 16 potted plants, The total amount I should've received was 112 potted flowers of phlox I only got a shipment of three trays of 16 potted flowers, so only 47 potted flowers missing 64. you would think you would receive an email if an order you placed way back in February March suddenly became out of stock, but no nothing. I had to call them to tell them it was missing for them to reimburse me.. and they say oh what happened sometimes I took off of day of work and prepped all this area for exactly 112 flowers and I can't even get anymore because it's out of stock and by the time it gets received from another company would be too late.What am I supposed to do with the people that are supposed to help me plant these tomorrow and the 64 missing spaces? Not to mention of the ones I received 4 came dead.This was a big screwup and caused a lot more trouble. You would think they would offer to send me other types of flocks that might be out of stock or something, but just completely unhappy with this company right nowAmerican Meadows, Inc. Response

They took my money but did not ship when they said they would. 2 weeks later and the tracking has not been provided. Response to my email says it would ship on the 8th, but has not shipped. Can not reach anyone on the phone. Site labels it as shipped, but their email response says it has not shipped but should have on the 8th. I feel this business misrepresents their service. I have no faith in my purchase and will attempt a refund but have little faith in that happening. Feels like a dog and piny show at this point. A straight answer on a shipping date is not a lot to ask. I wonder if they actually have the product to ahip that they are selling?American Meadows, Inc. Response

I have ordered plants and bulbs from different online websites. American Meadows **** is so far the worst company I have used. I ordered some perennials from this company. They shipped the plants without any protection. When I received the package, all the plants were outside the containers with the roots being exposed to the air, and the leaves wilted. I tried to save them by planting them into the planter right away. Unfortunately, they are dead. I tried to call customer service, and have been waiting for 40 min, but no one answered the phone. I have been trying to call them three times, but no one answered the phone. Stay away from this company if you want to get healthy plants!American Meadows, Inc. Response

Isnt the worst thing you can say about a seed company is that they send you the wrong seeds, you plant them, and then get a crop you didnt want? Well, thats what happened here. I ordered microclover from these guys; it sprouted like crazy but then we noticed, this isnt clover. We sent photos to American Meadows of what came up and they verified that what we got was Weeping *******. Absolutely no clover came up, but a carpet of Weeping ******** which had never been in evidence in our yard! They grudgingly refunded our money (well, thank you), as a courtesy, insisting that they had sent the correct seeds. What an arrogant and incompetent bunch they are.American Meadows, Inc. Response

We do lab test each fresh harvest of seed for purity and germination rate and would be happy to provide you with the details for the batch of seeds you ordered if thats helpful. We do not carry Creeping *******, so a seed mix-up is extremely unlikely. However, depending on how the area was prepared for planting, its possible there were dormant weed seeds in the soil bed that were brought up to the surface with a deep tilling.Regardless, we stand by our products and our guarantee. First, I was happy with their customer service- they forgot to add a package to my order. Well, for me, as a first time gardener, I ordered clover seeds- so I was told that they were. I wanted to replace my lawn with clover- for the pollinators. Once I had removed the grass and sown the seeds- surprise!It was grass. I am beyond disappointed for spending money on such an unreliable company and now I have grass that I cannot remove this year! Do they even know, what they are selling? I could have just strewn random seeds instead and saved my money. They are the reason I have lost time, invested in labor and lost money. I won't get back any of my investment, because they are incapable of selling the correct product. They also mislabel packages, that was another problem.American Meadows, Inc. Response

I ordered 13 iris rhizomes. I was disappointed with the plants I recieved. Some had no roots at all. All 13 were completely dried out. It is too early to see if they will thrive but I sold iris for many years and I never would have charged a customer for anything like what I recieved. They must be dry to ship without rot, but the leaves were so dry the fell off.Review from Derek M

I ordered ************************************************************* special ordered envelopes. The website said they would ship the next day. Eight days later I received an email saying that they're out of stock and cancelling my order and completely leaving me high and dry.
