Definitely a terrible company. Product defective. Their no hassle return policy doesnt include used items, but yet its no hassle. And they were super rude when I talked to them on the phone. On 12/3/23, I purchased 4 Beacon Insulated Bottles, 20 oz. I received the items on 12/7/23 and within the first day of use, one of the handles on the bottles broke on the side. After another day or so, the other handle on a different bottle broke at the same exact location the first one did. I put in a request for replacement handles and was told they could send me replacement handles, but they would be a different color. I then requested a refund at that point because who wants to have a different color handle when clearly the items were defective. I havent even had these products for a month and already two of the four handles broke within the first day of use. I submitted a request for refund on their website and was told I would hear back from them within 2 business days but have havent heard from them. I then sent them an email regarding the above request, but no answer. I even replied to **** the Consumer Relations Coordinator regarding getting a refund but no reply from her as well. After not hearing back from them, I called and spoke to a male. He was really rude and told me the no hassle return policy doesnt include items that have been used. That makes no sense as no hassle means no hassle. The website does not mention any return restrictions on used items. It simply states no hassle returns. *** disputed the charge with my card company and have received a credit for the purchase. I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR DRINKWARE. The customer service is super rude, and they do not care about you as a customer. They are a complete rip off.Business response

Zak Designs has successfully been in business for almost 50 years Such success rests on great products and great customer service. Unfortunately this consumer feels that we did not meet her expectations, which we do not take lightly. Our return policy is truly a no hassle policy within the first 30 days. A consumer can return a product for any, or no, reason in that time period. It appears that a communication breakdown occurred in this instance, which has been addressed. This consumer contacted Zak Designs from multiple sources to process her claim and that led to some of the confusion. Ultimately the consumer challenged the charge with her credit card company, and we did not challenge that effort. These are opportunities for companies to improve, learn, and be better moving forward. Hopefully this customer will give us another chance.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on 8/20/2023. Order number *****. This was all purchased through zak.com The 2 frozen cups and the Bluey Water bottle completely leak.l, they are unusable. The Bluey Water bottle design is almost completely off as well. I used the website to contact about my issues on 10/7. I recieved a confirmation email saying they recieved my email and I would be contacted within 48 hours. Today I contacted the company by phone. I was told I was a lair that I never submitted anything and the representative laughed at me. I asked for a supervisor and she refused. I want my money back.Business response
