In October I came here for a consult and eventually lip filler- 1 syringe of juvederm. I was pleased with the natural look. I would give 5 stars for that portion of my experience.I would not recommend this clinic due to their limited knowledge of treatment on side effects, hypersensitivities and ability to identify and treat them. Go to an office with a dermatologist. Their handling of an extremely terrifying situation brings their rating to 2 stars.Approximately 2 months later I began to suffer fromd Type IV delayed hypersensitivity at the injection sites. I made an appointment with ***** because my lips were becoming extremely swollen each day- redness, lumps, separation of filler, etc ***** said I did not need prednisone (even though case studies recommended it for treatment) and instead manipulated my lips to look better aesthetically. The next morning my lips doubled in size they had already swelled to due to the additional pressure. She said she had never dealt with anything like this before. Eventually she emailed me and gave me THREE tablets for 5mg Prednisone. That isnt even the equivalent of a Medrol Dose Pack. I called again crying because I did not think this dosing and amount would resolve this. I let her know I was going to ****** that weekend and needed to know it would be enough. She said I should take Pepcid, ibuprofen, ice packs and the prednisone While in ****** I was admitted to the ** due to this. The DR determined what was happening, Rx 6 doses 50mg Prednisone after reviewing case studies where this has happened to others I called the office the next day letting them know I was admitted to the **- the manager told me the ** DR **** a trained professional in lip ***************** isnt qualified to make the Dx. I made them aware that if they had taken my original safety seriously, I would have been on an accurate dose for treatment in the first place instead of being in the ** in ******, with a $1,200 USD bill in order to get prednisone
