We have a mortgage loan with this company, since May 2019 and have asked for monthly mortgage statements over and over again and have never been provided with one. We went on their site (March 4th) to see our last mortgage payment transaction/interest paid and balance as it showed that our original payment had cleared our bank on the 1st of March. However on the site we could not obtain any information on if the payment had been applied, interest paid or any details. We know that lending institutions are required to furnish statements, however we have never received a statement and now cannot even see if the payment has been applied and/or interest paid etc. Member Number - ****** Mortgage Account ********************************* Address - ***********************************************************************

      ******* and *********,

Thank you for reaching out and I do apologize for the trouble you are having viewing your mortgage history. The mortgage history is no longer available in our consumer online banking site. However we do have a online access dedicated to our mortgages. The link is ********************************************************** and can also be accessed from our main website ************************ under the orange Login button and then select e-Mortgage Login. It looks like your profile was initially set up in November of 2019  for the e-mortgage website and has not been accessed since. The user name is cgwheeler there is a Forgot Password link on this page and the system will send access information to the email on file. I have verified the email used for this site, matches what we have on record for your other accounts as well.

I hope that this online access to your mortgage history will provide the details you are looking for going forward. Attached is also a the history of your loan since it was opened in 2019.

      Thank you,

      *****************************

I am financing a car through NW plus credit union. Two years ago they initiated two charges on my account for not having ins. The charges were *******x2. The problem is I have insurance and I provided them all the info back in 2019. My loan agent told me they would remove the charges since I provided full coverage ins dating to the beginning of the loan. Well, last month I noticed they still have yet to remove one of the charges *******. I contact my agent and after two weeks they removed the fee. However, those charges incurred interest over a two year period and I want them to calculate the interest that was tacked on. This was NOT my error they asked me back in 2019 to provide my proof of coverage and I did that. They confirmed in multiple emails that theyd remove the charge but they didnt. Therefore, that charge of ******* added to the principle of my loan for 2 years which means theres added interest. Ive emailed them multiple times with very little communication. I was just told, that a supervisor is looking into it but was also told that 2 weeks ago. Im frustrated because we are not talking about ******* hundred dollars. This is ******* times 12% for 24 months. I just want whats right and thats them calculating the interest that was tacked on for over two years. I also informed them that I was filling a complaint but that hasnt made them want to make things right so here I am wasting your time to get something moving. This company is doing shady s*** and had I not looked back at my principal I woulda missed it. Now Im fighting to get them to figure out the interest for that charge and they are dragging their feet. Please help!

      *****,

Thank you for reaching out to the credit union and the BBB to ensure that your concerns are addressed. Prior to receiving the formal compliant on November 23rd, you had been working with our Loan Servicing manager to resolve this issue. After research it was found that insurance verification had been supplied to nw+|cu in 2020 at the time the second year *** ********************************* had been placed on the account. The *** coverage for 2020-2021, was canceled and credited back to your account at the time.
The *** coverage between July 2019- May 2020, however had not been canceled at that time. After your contact with nw+|cu this fall, we reached out to the *** company for review and requested a refund of the premium during that time period. This was received and applied to the loan on November 8th, 2021. On November 19th, *********************************************** the amount of $601.51 was applied. This amount reflects interest from when proof of insurance was provided to nw+|cu in 2020 to current. On November 23rd, 2021 an additional adjustment of $555.25 was completed to principal and interest covering the time period from when *** was originally placed until notification in 2020.
Prior to any *** being placed on the loan in both 2019 and 2020, multiple letters were sent. These letters were mailed to the primary borrowers address on file, which was not ******************. These charges were also reflected in the quarterly loan statements. While we do understand the frustration with charges being place on the account, when insurance was in place, nw+|cu did complete ample notifications prior to making these adjustments.
At this time nw+|cu feels the account has been appropriately credited and the matter is resolved.

      Thank you.
