After noticing my washing machine was not draining, I was getting a specific error code, I called A1 appliance and they assured me that they could fix it. An older gentleman, later known as the owner a retired state trooper. The machine was leaking and the spring guard that surrounds the rubber front was not properly secured and I had to call them again to come back out and fix the washer. The above errors prevented me from even using my washing machine. They came a few weeks later and I asked my mom to deal with the gentleman who laughing joked about leaving the flooded laundry room saying that "it must have been someone else" and he knows full well it was him who came from his company to repair what he broke whilst fixing the initial issue. Two days later the ring fell off again and flooding ensued. I called and spoke with the owners wife who is also their receptionist and schedule keeper. She said the employee (later known to be her husband) was on vacation and that it would be a few weeks to fix the problem. I explained my concern not having been able to use my washing machine and her employees having left a mess and not actually fixing anything. She was quite cross and I was very disappointed. A few days later her husband, the employee called me and cursed me out, he was shouting that he would "get me" for the way I spoke to his "wife." Then he said well fine, I will come fix the issue we created. I no longer felt comfortable after the 2 times he tried and then the threats made to me. I am a retired Army officer, a combat veteran. The reason I live out in Arlington is so that I don't have to fight or have angry people around me. I told him I didn't want him back in my house and that I would like Refund. I was never given a refund of $190.00 (I can check exact amount) and the work I paid for was never done. I had to hire a more professional, courteous company who came the following week and fixed what A1 appliance broke which cost $220.00.
