To Whom It May ********* have requested from within 2-3 months if not sooner to have an employee of Axis Roof to go over my concerns. After Several, Several e-mails to the company, (i.e., ********************************* ******************************** ******************************** I still as today 12-12-2022 still have not had anyone review and correct or make and attempts to resolve the issues. I tried to handle and work it out myself as well as I could. The Roof smells of hot asphalt when the sun is fully on the roof. I am also concerned the roof vents are not working efficiently, and there may be sweat and/or mold accumulating. The old flashing was not removed. The new flashing was hand bent and pushed up against the old flashing. Until the water (if at all) shows through the roof it will be too late. All my concerns are listed. All was not done as it was explained to me that it would be as discussed. They advertise they in good standing with the BBB. Personally, I do not know what that includes or really means, and/or the effective impact it may have on the BBB.Does the BBB suggest and/or offer a contractor inspector that can assist in in the workmanship and installation of the roof.Sincerely,colt 12/12/2022Business response

I am including a lot of correspondence and office support regarding ******************
First and foremost, if Colt was not happy with his job installed in 2017, I am unclear why he called and re-hired us to do the repair and work two years later when a tree fell on it in a storm. We have responded to every call, every department, every time.
Thank you,Hello BBB - this is the 4th correspondence we have had over this complaint, so no sure why you say it's the second attempt - I left the last on written above. Here nor there, this unfortunate that **************** is continuing to summit complaints over his re roof project in 2017. We have been to his home several times and listed any punch list items he had concerns over. We addressed minor issues within our workmanship warranty and explained to him that we could do for him to keep him happy. Items we cannot control or deviate from would affect his shingle warranty and explained that to him. We will still work with him, and honor the warranty provided if there is a shingle defect or leak. We have been onsite multiple times at our expense inspect the roof and explain the application and why we installed to manufacture specifications. The roof is installed correctly, and soffit nails will penetrate the plywood as it states in our contract and verbally explained. If **************** would like to call our office and discuss his concerns, we would be happy to walk back through the project with him and discuss if there is a solution, we could achieve. We are very customer service orientated and go above and beyond for our customers to keep our good name.

Axis Roofing is miss leading you. My complaint is not about the storm damage they repaired for me.
It is about the actual Full Roof Replaced. They said they would come out. ***** came out and I explained
The issues. He left and I have hot head from them again. I have been asking from 6/2019 to present to
get a person here face to face. No one contacted me for an appointment to connect and review the issues.
The Damage they caused needs to be addressed. I was told they would, yet no has come to look.

Thank you for clarifying the complaint with us. We would like to make a statement that we strongly recommend Colt contact Gaf for any warranty issues he is concerned about. We specifically sent our lead roofer/Project Manager to address his venting concerns. They were unfounded by us and considered resolved on our end. **************** has an excellent warranty on his roof installation. After the first two years it is out of our hands and in Gafs hands. We are happy to have our Gaf Area Manager come take a look, but recommend **************** call the Gaf Warranty hotline and get a claim number that way. I have enclosed his system plus warranty so he has the paperwork and number he will need. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do on our end. I have 28 pages of correspondence and documentation of paperwork addressing ***************** We hope that Gaf can help him if that is the direction he would like to go.

I am rejecting this response because:The Axis comment below is incorrect. I have not been contacted to go over the issues that have been sent.
They are using a different issue to stall and confuse the issue at hand. In short, they are being fraudulent to
doge the issues, letters and comments sent to Axis 5 + different times. They also have done the same thing
to the **** I have the text message from ***** the person who wrote the quote and contract. Also, I have
connected ******* and no one has made an effort, or appointment to go over the concerns. Axis is refusing to
respond. Did they send the BBB a list of what the issues are and what was done? Does the BBB have any contact
info for the *********** I have been battling the issues with Axis for a very long time. They simple just need
to send a repressive form Axis, talk to me, let me show them. How hard is that for them to make an effort
and appointment. Really what are the hiding. I just want some one to contact me. Axis has all my info.
