Six people in my group booked a tour with Bio-Monte in 2019 for travel to Italy in the summer of 2020. As we all know, CoVid shut down international travel. ******* told us we would all be rebooked for the following summer. No one panicked. No one demanded a refund. When it became clear that travel was also not going to occur in the summer of 2021, myself and some of my travel companions inquired about a refund. We were told there would be no refunds and we were guaranteed rebooking in the summer of 2022. We just recently received an email from ******* that states they are no longer booking toursthere will be no rebooking and no refunds. ******* claims that CoVid is an act of God and therefore he can not be held liable. I paid them $3500. My travel companions each paid them $3500. They keep $21,000 for services not providedand thats just our tour group. There are many other people in this same situation as evidenced by other complaints submitted to the BBB and other travel groups trying to get in touch with *******. Although they claim to be out of business, their website is still operational and accepting bookings. They are still advertising tours on their personal social media and ******* has changed his name on social media. Although theyve physically moved to *****, their website still operates with an ********* address as an ********* business.
