We hired Mike's **** and Maintenance to mow our lawn. **** explained via text (image attached) that his hourly rate is $55. He serviced our lawn a total of 4 times. We received a **** with an hourly rate of $220. Our total now for four visits is $593.45. When we called him to clarify the discrepancy, he stated that his hourly rate is $55/hour/per person and that on each visit there was a total of 4 persons. This translates to an hourly rate of $220/hour. We would never have agreed to such an hourly rate. He mislead us by omitting the fact that the hourly rate was per person and that there would be four persons servicing the lawn each time. When confronted with this, **** called us crazy, ridiculous, out of our mind, and that we are incompetent. We included screenshots of the text exchanges with him, and our gate app showing the actual time spent on one of the service visits.Business response

Good day.
This is in response for the complaint of **************************, at ************************************************************************* with reference ID number of ********.
The incident was a miscommunication. When she called me for an estimate I specifically explained to her that our service to mow a lawn is $55.00 per hour per person. We talked for about 10 minutes before she hired us and scheduled her to do a service. I created a job order for 4 people working in her yard and they did 40 minutes. ****** thought it was $13.75 per person per hour of service. We charged per hour per person. I thought I was clear and I was not. The minimum wage in **************** is $14.49 per hour.
Today, I received her payment for the service after the complaint.
The case has been resolved and I'm looking forward for a publicly posted on BBB's website.
