      I purchased a new 2019 GMC Terrain from Valley Buick GMC in 2019 . Valley performed a service on the car on 6/4/20 due to a recall. When I picked the Vehicle after the recall service, I got about 1 mile away from the dealership and the car threw itself into park while going about 15 mph. I immediately returned to the dealership and they found no codes with the car and made no repairs. I got a full oil change and service on the Terrain on 6/21/21 in preparation for a road trip from ****** to ********** and back on 6/25-6/28. The weather during this trip was over 100 degrees. On 6/29 the Terrain was overheating and the car shut off. Upon inspection of the engine, the coolant cap was not on and instead, placed upside down in the engine bay. Valley had to pick up the vehicle from my husbands work and perform another oil change and coolant flush on 6/30/21 for free and then returned the vehicle. I was told by another GMC dealership service technician that coolant flushes under 100k miles indicate that the vehicle is having mechanical issues. I was told by ********************* at Valley that where we found the cap is where their technicians are trained to put the coolant cap. **** apologized to me for this and that the employee (**********) who left the cap off would be talked to by the manager *********************. I was promised an incident report but never got one. In Nov 2021 the car started driving poorly and the transmission was slipping. On 9/5/23 I had to tow the Terrain to Valley to get it fixed and found they had to replace the exhaust camshaft and the vacuum pump. On 1/24/24 I again had to tow my Terrain back to Valley to get it fixed and it turns out they had to replace that exact same 2 parts as last time, the exhaust camshaft and vacuum pump. Now the Terrain is back in the shop as of 6/10/24 and is still in there with the engine being stripped down. The negligence from Valley has caused many issues with the Terrain and I no longer feel safe with my kids in that car.

      I think that service that I received on 5/11/23, and 6/7/23, and the closing date 6/15/23, was not done up to part to fix check engine light. Sorry for the late review I didn't know I could complain about the service I paid over *******, and my car has been parked since 6/16/23, and I drove all the way to **** ** and the check engine light came on, but after talking with Auburn Foreign and Domestic. concerning these issues, they explain to me that since you ***** told Valley Auburn about any of your problems concerning your car. They didn't really check your car properly they just took your money and did not do a real engine Diagnostic check. I think I should have my money back the year of my car is a **** Saturn VUE, because I am a senior, they took advantage. That's not okay.
