***************** was given $17,000 dollars to install kitchen cabinets, paint the kitchen, install a dishwasher, and install a range hood. He was also supposed to install a shower, install shower tile, install a bathroom vanity, install a bathroom sink, install a bathroom door, install a toilet, and paint. None of the work was completed and he kept all the money except $5000 dollars. **** was extremely unprofessional when I expressed that the cabinets he delivered were not the color we agreed on, he then moved forward to charge us for a kitchen countertop when we explicity expressed we wanted to hold off on it due to the dissatisfaction with the cabinets we ordered through him. He left several of the kitchen cabinets outside in the elements to be rained on. When asked to move the cabinets inside the house **** did not do so. **** also left debris and trash on the front of our property.Business response

The cabinets where the ones you chose and also so was the countertops * I brought you physical samples to choose from and brought you the material of what you physically chose * Im sorry you was not satisfied with the countertops or cabinets but that is what you chose and you was told there would be no refund from the cabinets or countertops just because you changed your mind once materials where purchased* We also had to refrain from working at your residence due to aggressive behavior from client which was slamming of doors in our faces and aggressive profanity and saying where not allowed to bring materials in door * Also the insurance pay out was not for a full kitchen of cabinets only a bottom 5 cabinets and to leave the top cabinets in place we went out of our way to help you get a full kitchen with quartz countertops instead of a Formica and 5 bottom base cabinets * You was given a refund of what was left over from the materials and labor cost and dump runs that we had already begun plus tile work that was done in the bathroom * You also wanted to go out of budget from what your insurance would actually cover and try doing more tile then what was in the appraisal which you tried to force us to cover after we explained that you could only do what was in the appraisal budget you was given by your insurance * According to the appraisal budget the ***** is more then enough to cover the remainder cost of the small bathroom * As per our agreement if you had any disagreement you had we where to have mediation to resolve it but by leaving this response with out trying mediation you are now in breech of contract and everything from here on out is null and void * I apologize for any inconvenience but I wish you the best on your project and sorry this did not work out * If you had a disagreement over the ***** you could have easily reached out to me and we could have come to a different resolution * We take every complaint though serious and will continue to work better for future outcomes like this to never happen again and take this response as a learning lesson * best of luck to you and sorry again if we failed you *Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:The contractor refunded $5,000 to:
complete the bathroom installation of the vanity, toliet , shower, tile surround , interior door and paint the bathroom.
***************** did not complete the kitchen:The kitchen cabinets were not installed.
The contractor never delivered the countertop but I was charged.
The sink and dish washer were not installed.
Moulding was not installed.The refrigerator was not installed.
The heater was not installed.
The oven was not installed.
The kitchen was not painted.
Debris was left behind and not removed.
