I purchased a queen sized duvet cover/set for my wife on June 17th, 2023. When we received said merchandise almost a month later, my wife and I quickly unpackaged it and realized that it didnt go with our bedroom after all. We immediately packaged it back up and sent it off for a refund. Knowing that we would be out over $60 for the mistake according to their return policy and the restocking fee. Since we received it so much later, I paid an extra $20 for overnight delivery and was guaranteed that theyd receive the merchandise back - which was barely within the specified 30 day requirement according to their return policy. Ive since contacted them to ensure this, and was last told theyd check to see if it had been opened yet, meaning to say the package could just be sitting somewhere as the deadline approaches before they open it?!? I have not heard back since, even after repeatedly trying to reach back out through their websites chat feature. I still dont have my refund over a month later. The merchandise was in perfect, unused condition, as it was only outside of the package for 3 minutes before we neatly folded it up and put it back into said package. I followed all of their return policy procedures and even left a friendly note in the return package. And still, no refund. This company cannot be trusted. They do not communicate well. And their return policy is misleading, clearly designed to protect them from having to uphold their end of the bargain by running the clock. This company cannot be trusted. They do not communicate well. Theres nothing stopping them from saying they didnt open the returned package in time before the 30 day deadline past. And I think thats exactly what they did so they didnt have to pay people a refund. They still have not communicated their intentions through the chat on their website, nor through the email address that I have shared with them. This company is a complete sham - pun intended. And I want my $270 back.Initial Complaint

I hired Castle Construction to do a kitchen remodel, electrical work, flooring installation and a closet frame install. Upon completion of the kitchen I found several errors. The cabinets were smaller than what I had in place originally, the backsplash was broken throughout the entirety of the wall, the outlet and light switch covers are not able to be installed because the outlets sit back in the wall too far and the backsplash is broken all around the outlet/switches where the plate does not hide it. There were cracks, gouges and broken pieces on almost all of the cabinets, some of the drawers were not mounted correctly to be able to be closed, they put extra filler in spaces to fill because they measured the cabinets incorrectly, they didn't adhere to the plans for the island and made it too big so it impedes in the dining space under the fixture, appliances were not installed, there are chips in the quartz countertops, they didn't reframe the closet or install the tracks or doors. I went over everything with **** and he said he needed to talk to the boss about it. I talked to *** and they had agreed to fix everything but needed a progress payment to move forward. Being hesitant I paid them the progress payment. As soon as it went through they stated they would cover the cost of the island countertop if it got broken. I was not going to cover the cost, it wasn't my mistake. They then refused to fix anything told me I could find someone else to fix their mistake and threatened to put a lien on my property if I did not pay the remainder of the balance, I never signed a disclosure agreement, they are not certified electricians/ electrical contractors and did not obtain an electrical permit. I ended up having to have a certified electrician come and look over their work to make sure my property wasn't going to catch fire. Another added cost to have it done properly. They are not honest and have integrity.Initial Complaint

Previously had great experiences with drywall patching and painting but we had our floor repaired during the week of August 15th and they stained the floor the entirely wrong color without sampling any part of the floor before staining the entire lot of new wood. They then tried to remove the stain and restain it the correct color but its still a vastly different color. In addition to the improper color, the floor is deeply scratched from them moving the fridge and oven back and forth before the work was complete, and the wood was not sanded on the edge and continues to stand up. They agreed to not charge us for the hours spent trying to correct the issue but refused to fix it unless we paid for the entire process with a small discount again, in addition to paying for all the incomplete work to date.
