6/23-call to Pacific Northwest Inspections Group (PNIG) 6/23 for inspection of the roof/attic, to identify issues and the adequacy of the current ventilation. This was a 2nd inspection for comparison. The company schedd for the 2nd inspection had to r/s due to COVID. I called PNIG to schedule an inspection sooner. Nature of inspection reqd explained. PNIG schedd for 6/25. I asked if they reqd any background informationPNIG stated it was not necessary and declined further information.6/25-reminded PNIG the specifics of the reqd inspection. ****************** spent < 15 minutes in the attic - the 1st inspector spent > **************************** the attic was very short for the reqd evaluation. He stated he did not require addl time. I noted to ****************** he had not mentioned issues the 1st inspector reported- 1)obstructed ridge vent, 2) inadequate ventilation documented w/pictures,measurements,calculations w/source documents, 3) roof issues including excessive debris, varied materials. He stated it would all be in his report. I paid $389. 6/30-call PNIG to req the report. They were unable to access the report-it was incomplete.7/01-Report received 7/01. It had minimal info, some areas blank. It lacked assessment and documentation of the issues reqd. Roof not assessed. We offered a FULL refund which she declined and would rather give bad reviews. Client paid for what she received, our inspection was not at an expert witness report. We offer those services starting at $800.00+ client was not clear of our service, why not accept a refund. She has a bad agenda, she hired multiple companies for this same job.

I am rejecting this response because:

PNIG stated: We offered a FULL refund which she declined and would rather give bad reviews.
KP Response: PNIG offered a full refund with the provision that I sign an NDA. I responded to them where a full refund was in order I would not sign an NDA. Text of the email is below and attached

PNIG stated: Client paid for what she received, our inspection was not at an expert witness report. We offer those services starting at $800.00+ client was not clear of our service, why not accept a refund.
KP Response: PNIG did not provide requested services I provided BBB the inspection report from the initial inspection from PHI as a comparison the differences in quality and completeness of service are quite apparent. The lack of information in the report provided by PNIG is evidence their inspections was less than adequate *************************** missed areas in the attic and did not inspect the roof as requested.

PNIG stated: She has a bad agenda, she hired multiple companies for this same job.
      KP response:

At no time did I request an "expert witness".  That is an erroneous statement.  As stated in the initial report - My intention was to obtain two (2) home inspections to ensure objectivity and to be sure all possible information was obtained. The original secondary inspector came down with COVID and had to reschedule; I reached out to PNIG to obtain a secondary inspection sooner than later. In my initial telephone call to PNIG I specifically requested a roof AND attic inspection, specifically evaluating the adequacy of attic ventilation. PNIG confirmed they could provide the services requested. I reiterated this on the day of their visit. My communications were quite clear. The inspection provide and the subsequent report fall short of providing proper services as promised.

***************************/PNIG is well versed in using the term libel as noted in the attempted forced NDA. Any further dispersions to my character will be dealt with as such.  I expect FULL refund without the requirement of signing an NDA.

      ***** <*******************>

      Hello, ******
Im following up on our conversations of last week. As we discussed, I had requested an inspection of the roof and attic of my home, to include assessment of the ventilation. The inspection performed of the attic was limited, and inspection of the roof did not happen. The report received from your inspection is incomplete and does not mention or address any of the present issues with the attic (ex. Blocked ridge vent), whether or not the venting inthe attic is adequate (there are no calculations which lend to this) or the roof (moderate to heavy debris).
You had offered a reimbursement of the $389 paid to you, however, at that time you did not explain this was under the condition of signing a nondisclosure agreement. As per our second conversation of last week, you confirmed by my signing this agreement I would be restricted from providing reviews or otherwise contacting any consumer protection platforms regarding my experience.
Where rendering a refund is in order given the services paid for is not what was provided, being made to sign aNDA in lieu of refund is unethical, and is otherwise, not appropriate. Moreover, having consulted with legal resources, it is my understanding this is, in fact, not an industry standard as you would have me believe.
I welcome the receipt of a full refund, however, I will not be manipulated or forced to sign an NDA.
I will await your response. If a refund or response is not received within 5 business days, I will move forward with other options.
      Sincerely,
      *********************************

      Sincerely,

The client was offered a FULL refund within minutes of her notifying us of her dissatisfaction. She clearly was expecting something that our company did not offer, we understood that and offered a full refund without any negativity with same in return.

I am rejecting this response because:

We seem to be going around in circles here.  To be clear - I expect a full refund.  I will not sign a non-disclosure agreement to meet that end. I am requesting PNIG provide a FULL refund WITHOUT requiring a signed NDA.

Simply, PNIG needs to respond whether or not they will provide a FULL refund WITHOUT requiring a signed NDA.

      Sincerely,
