As someone seeking a smooth and efficient divorce process, I turned to Divorce.com with high hopes. However, my experience with this service has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others considering their services.First and foremost, Divorce.com's advertising is highly misleading. Promises of a streamlined process and quick resolutions are far from reality. Instead of the straightforward service they tout, I found myself mired in a seemingly endless cycle of delays and complications.Communication from Divorce.com is abysmal. Despite their claims of being available to assist at every step, responses to inquiries are slow and often unhelpful. It's evident that once they have your money, their commitment to customer service dwindles significantly.To add insult to injury, the fees charged by Divorce.com are exorbitant considering the level of service provided. I expected to pay for convenience and expertise, but what I received was far from what was promised. The value simply does not align with the astronomical costs.In conclusion, my experience with Divorce.com has been a nightmare. Misleading advertising, poor communication, constant delays, and unjustifiable hidden fees make this service one to avoid at all costs. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a divorce solution that truly values its customers and delivers on its promises.Divorce.com Response

I paid $999 for a uncontested with no children divorce. Advertising filing was included. Once I reviewed the paperwork and signed they tell me I need to mail them a money order for $175 for filing fee. I unfortunately am disabled currently and every ***** I get is spoken for so I had to get a loan and even the loan was through the website and states filing included. They refuse to file my divorce now. I didnt need anything no phone calls I didnt need questions answered basically they filled our names in and refuse to file. Im devastated. THEY ARE ALL FROM OUT OF THE COUNTRY. I ASKED because I thought the 3 people I spoke to werent understanding me. But they understood and they knew they were s******* us Americans over. On our home page, where we offer the various package options, we disclose in the *** section that the court filing fees are not included in our pricing. Each package clearly describes what is included so our customers understand what to expect before they sign up for and pay for our service.

They charged 300$ for the service they cancelled. This is a scam website. They will find a way to not process your claim and they will make you pay for the service you can not useDivorce.com Response

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. This business is a joke. Before signing up I saw their marketing that they provide refunds if youre unhappy with their service. So I signed up, opened the document, started filling it out and saw that it wasnt going to be sufficient for my needs and immediately requested a refund. Because I opened the document, they were only willing to give back about half of the $785 Id spent. Im all for a service charge for my mistake but thats just ridiculous. When emailing them, they just give the same scripted responses regardless of how many people you speak to. Theyre definitely benefiting off the plight of people wanting a simple divorce.Divorce.com Response

Going into the divorce process I had heard that it could be costly and mentally frustrating. Having spoken with an attorney, just the retainer was more than we could afford. And since we hadn't been married that long, we decided we would each leave with what we came in with. With no need for deliberations, we opted to handle the process ourself. That said though, we knew having some assistance would be needed. A guiding hand. I was referred to a local company, and when they never responded back, I recalled having seen divorce.com on a ****** search I had previously done during a time I could see it becoming our conclusion. The reviews I saw made me feel comfortable in going that route, and the fee and the fact that they guide and prepare the forms also made me feel better. The process was straight forward and the website easy to navigate and understand. If ever I had a question I was able to get in touch with my case agent quite promptly. One of the best things I found useful, is when they send the forms to you. They send a sample with the original. It's clearly labeled. It's even color coded. It was like having an attorney right next to me during the filling out process. Absolutely gave me a sigh of relief and a feeling of comfort. The only way to mess it up is if I didn't follow the step by step instructions. Kudos on that part. A coworker is going throughna divorce and I recommended they use divorce.com. Marriage is very easy. Divorce is quite terrifying. But divorce.com really helped us out. It's a service I'm quite pleased with.Divorce.com Response

Divorce.com will market to its customers at every opportunity before, during, and after you pay them. Example, when you call their contact number on their website for support, they route you to a service (I got medical alert because I'm 50+) based on your age or other demographic. It's really frustrating when youre just trying to get things done. (Before deciding on them, go to their web site and call to see how you will be treated.)I'm in the middle of this process now.... will be following up with a final review as soon as this is completed. I'll be fair based on how things are going forward. We'll see. If I knew then what I know now, I'd go someplace else.Divorce.com Response
