They project a legitimate front, but they are con artists, unprofessional and lack customer service. The process of the gate was quick. They said they would paint our gate. They informed us the night before of the date for installation. Then they didnt even have the gate painted. They painted the slabs after installation which means the individual panels were not painted and sealed in between. It also meant spillage onto the metal part of the gate. We had to paint a second coat ourselves. The sensor they installed will not open to my truck. Ive taken pictures and video. They scheduled to meet me out there and then went on their own time that day without meeting me and claimed it works fine. So i wasnt even able to show them. I have been trying to get a hold of them for two weeks to correct their improper placement of our key panel that they placed on the neighbors property (not where we agreed) and NOBODY will return my call. THREE times Ive been promised a phone call and my phone never rings. They dont stand by their work. They are shady as it gets. Our key panel needs to be moved as they installed on neighbors property and the sensor needs to respond to all vehicles. They need to honor the warranty and correct these issues. I have included a picture showing the panel hanging over into the middle of the driveway. I have more images available if I can get around the Suzi bc issue. This company has some horrible reviews with the same issues. They need to be held accountable.Customer response

We had our gate installed less than 1 year ago, the welded control arm bracket broke off of the post and needs to be welded. I reached out to ***** and he informed me that they were too far and told me to find a welder and have the problem fixed myself. I was quoted ~$685 for the fix and sent the quote to ***** who said we do not cover or fix this. I included a picture of the invoice which states that gates and posts are warrantied for 10 years. He has since stopped replying to messages.Initial Complaint

Evergreengates installed a gate that we specifically discussed to be permitted. They did not get any permits (electrical nor design) and made it seem that they would do it. They did not even know what our city's specifications for gates were. We had to send the gate specifications for ******** because they had no Idea. We paid in excess of $11,000. For a gate that we wanted fully permitted. They installed a gate that is too small (16 ft minimum) they installed a 14 ft gate. Did not get electrical permit. We had to re-do the electrical part at our expense. We have been waiting for 2 years for the owner ************ to redo the gate to comply with permits and for them to get the permits but still has not been done. My last communication with **** was on Dec 2021. Saying that they were going to go ahead with a 16 ft gate. Never sent the actual gate design. Never gave us a date. Communication is so bad. I have called hundred of times spoken with *****, which was the sales person, ********, so many people and they al apologize but the gate is still not fixed!Initial Complaint

Hello BBB, ***** called us over the weekend (Sunday) and we tried to return her call on Monday and Tuesday, We called her 4 times, sent her a voicemail and texts, she answered only at the 5th time I have called her, she explaining that her gate stopped working I sent a tech the next day after we spoke over the phone, the tech got there and showed her that the gate and the system in great condition and there is no issue with our installation, ***** have problems with her electrical panel inside her garage the wiring are old and in a pretty bad condition, When we explained her that she said that she know she have many issues with her electrical panel and she will bring her electrician, I told her I can give her phone number of electrician we work with who have a lot of knowledge and doesnt charge a lot of money for service like that, She said its ok she will use her electrician for that, I believe BBB should not post this complain on my account, we did provide a good service to *****, We Did called her the next business day after she called and we did send a tech to check the gate system, and we didnt charge her anything to send some to check the system
