On July 10, 2023, I contacted Organic Nail Bar by phone to inform the person, ****, who did my daughter's and my nails, that she not only burned me badly with the Shellac procedure she used, but also to request a refund of the tip I provided her, once I saw the burn left a visible **** on my foot. I provided her pictures and complained about the price she charged us, which was more than her online price sheet that I saw in ****** while searching the number to call about the burn. **** was well aware that she burned me after placing the hot heat dryer on my skin. I told her when she burned my fingers, but she rushed to get other walk-ins, although my daughter and I had appointments and waited 45 minutes still to be seated. She burned me again when she propped the hot iron against my feet. I told her she was using an improper technique and that the technicians in ****** held it and not propped it against my skin. It's a hot heater after all! When I called, they greeted me with hostility and then told me to email the concern. I emailed my concerns with photos attached and when I received a response, it was one of blame the victim! I will be happy to provide you these emails. **** turned it around on me claiming it was my fault for yanking my feet away in agony/pain when burned and breaking her Shellac heater. She ordered me to pay for it and provided me with a bill to pay. She never apologized for the pain she put me through or even acknowledged it or the pictures I provided. She displayed ZERO empathy! She begged my daughter and me to do the Shellac procedure, telling us it was better and lasted longer. She was only on concerned about the money! My daughter was smart to only get it on her nails. The other technician did her nails and after **** burned me, I told her that I wanted that technician to finish my nails. She did not provide the relaxing and Zen experience as advertised and the reason we went! It was the most stressful, frustrating and rushed experience!
