I have been trying to resolve a refund for a cancelled service contract for over 3 months with very little responsiveness. Finally the check was sent to me but to the wrong address even though I gave the updated address multiple times. I have proof of funds being sent to Porsche Bellevue from Porsche directly but for some reason they are constantly delaying and rarely return emails or phone calls asking for any updates. Please pay me what you owe me and send to the correct address as soon as possible as this has been ****** excessiveInitial Complaint

I recently traded in my 718 boxster gts and need to cancel the extended warranty associated with this car. However, after multiple trip to this dealership as well as multiple attempt of emailing as well as calling, I was unable to get the problem resolved. It has been 4 month and I'm still not seeing my refund. I visited your dealership in end of April and was told I also need to bring the payoff statement/trade in contract to get the refund which I did by visiting your dealership again in the up coming week. Signed the document and was promised the refund will be sent in a month. Nothing. I have to reach out to you again by phone last month to check the status and was told you have not received any document or cancellation? That's fine, I sent the payoff letter/ contract again and I have been waiting for almost 3 weeks now. And I'm not getting any response when trying to contact you through email.The VIN is *****************.I'm done waiting. This is the last warning to give me the refund and If I cannot get it I'll have to escalate this to small claim court.Initial Complaint

In September 2019, I purchased a car from Porsche Bellevue and was sold a pre-paid maintenance package covering 4 years of services for a cost of $4380. I was also sold an appearance and windshield protection plan for a further $1890. In December 2021, my car was in an accident and deemed a total loss. The finance company sent a letter to advise me to contact the dealership for a pro-rated repayment on any prepaid maintenance, which I did. They are offering no refund on the protection packages and only $400 on the remaining 2 years of unused, pre-paid maintenance. Their justification is that the packages are tied to the vehicle - however, this was not explained to me at the time of purchase and seems unreasonable in a total loss situation. I am seeking a prorated refund of pre-purchased plans.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: The matter is not yet resolved. Kjell from Porsche has proposed a solution that will work for me, but he advised that he needs to look into some back-end details which will take a few days. Until a final proposal has been documented, I do not consider the complaint resolved.

To Whom my Concern
I am following up on the Complaint # ******** regarding Mr. ***** ******* registration time line. This has been a on going problem all DMV's around the country due to Covid and short staffing in the DMV departments. We have a third party company doing all our out of state licensing and we also have a full staff in house. We had the Califorina DMV and Mr. ******* on the phone last Friday 11/5 and it has been resolved. The main issue is we should have communicated more with Mr. *******. I apologize this didn't happen. We are learning from this. We actually have stop doing out of state transactions because of the issues and wait time for out of state Registration. Thanks again for bringing to our attention.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.It appears that this situation was the result of one person repeatedly not following up as they repeatedly said they would. This complaint was completely avoidable.
I want to thank the personnel who made the effort and quickly resolved the problem.
