I received a scam call from ************ which was a recording stating that I had a file with an attorney's office and I needed to call ************ and provided a file number ******** that I owed money. I called the number back and was told that I owed money to a company MYCASHNOW and I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THEM NOR HAVE I EVER TAKEN OUT A LOAN WITH THEM. I was told that I was being taken to court that I frauded them and the lady knew my address from over 15 years ago and the last 4 digits of my SS# and my email address which I don't know how she has them. I told her I did not know anything about this company and I would need documentation before I moved forward and she said that she would send it to me and I never have received anything.Initial Complaint

Summit collections called me today alleging I owe money to due to a loan from MyCashNow in 2019. I've never had a loan with that company and when I challenged the collections company, and asked for paperwork to be mailed to me, they hung up on me multiple times. A company called SMS does the same thing and every time I block one number, they call me from a new number.Initial Complaint

I received a phone call call asking for the last 2 digits of my phone number. They said My Cash now is trying to serve me, and can not teach me. I've never used this company as a loan company. The person never gave me any details of when I took the loan out, how much it was, or anything else. Just said $3,757.50 is what I'm being sued for. I got a call from a man who stated he was kevin a**** Id number ***** from Joseph and Williams and he was going to have carrier one deliver a court order because I owe mycashnow around $4500 from April 15th 2019. I've never heard of mycash now and had wrong email on file, but somehow knew my address, bank, and scary part is last 4 of my ss#Initial Complaint

Today I got a call from a "mediator" from a company called crg/crc who said they were calling about $700 that I supposedly owe a company called mycashnow from 2019 as a payday loan with a case# 15675317. I've never heard of this company, the info they said is mine is definitely not mine (drivers license, address, & email). Then they said I could settle today for $300 because they have been trying to reach me but couldn't, but I have had no communication from them other than the call today. Then when I said I was disputing, he said it would be hard to do without proof of identity theft & if I went to court I'd definitely lose the case because I committed bank fraud & breach of contract. Then he started a nice speil of threats about what they could take from me. He said it possibly could be fraudulent if the id on file wasn't mine but I could provide my id and end it now Did they think I was a fool? Then he said I would be served at my place of employment within the next few weeks.Initial Complaint

There is a creditor by the name of My Cash Now claiming I took out a loan in 2017 with them. I have never heard of this company nor did I ever take out a loan with them. There clam is I now owe over $2500 to them and threatening a Lawsuit. I know nothing about this company or supposed loan!!Initial Complaint

A company by the name of MyCash called me stating I owe 1,000. They had the last 4 digit of my SSN. But, because I didn't recognize the company nor that I took out any payday loans. I knew that this was a scam called.
