I have read the reviews posted for this company and I can agree that they were aggressive at the initial meeting, but in the end, we have been happy with our purchase. Everyone should know by now what a timeshare consists of and how they are run. There is way too much information out there about timeshares to not know. My experience started off shaky, but once I figured out that planning WAY ahead of time is the key in owning a Vacation International timeshare, we have had memorable vacations. I even took my son on a cruise using my points!! We have enjoyed several stays at several different properties and each time has been wonderful. It is like a home away from home for us. We have taken friends and family with us on our vacations and they are always amazed by the properties that we have stayed at because they are so awesome. People need to be patient and learn how to plan way ahead for vacations that are memorable and worth the wait. Do I regret my purchase? No. I like being able to stay in places that feel like home.Review from Peter A

First, we were sold on the idea this was a vacation membership sort of hotel points but you are allowed to buy points and stay at resorts or hotels all over the world. There was a short cancellation period (7 days) in which we were not provided access to our account(s). However, this cancellation period was not highlighted to us. After 7-10 business days we were able to access our account and start browsing to book a trip. None of the locations we had gone over during our sign on were listed. When we called the office a woman started yelling at me for simply asking how to use it. That is the first time that I heard anyone mention timeshare. I quickly called my credit card company and filed a chargeback since we never agreed to a timeshare nor was it mentioned in our contract. We called the office again to try to speak to the loan department however the agent was condescending and outright angry at me for simply asking how I can get out of this. This company is deceitful and their customer service is in the drain. Still trying to figure out how to get out when there are so many websites and different numbers to different companies.

Vacation Internationale (VI) is a huge scam! My experience with them has been disappointing to say the least. I truly believe that I have been the victim of a scam worth more than $55,000 and heartbreaking because when I signed my contract with VI, I strongly believe I was targeted due to my recent bereavement, which is both unethical and unacceptable. It took less than a year to discover how deceiving and conniving the VI sales team are. The sales tactics employed at the presentation were aggressive and coercive. I recently lost my wife, and the push for an upgrade during my stay in ********* was not only unwarranted but also insensitive. The persistent and pushy salesman refused to accept no for an answer, trapping me in the presentation for three hours by taking away my identification at the start. I was presented with the timeshare as an opportunity to not only help me move along from my grief but as a possible business venture for me to invest in. I would be able to extract rents from it, going so far as to suggest that it would even help me pay off the maintenance fee or the monthly mortgage, which was described as a real estate investment. This was a lie. To add insult to injury, their sales team suggested that I would be stupid to let this opportunity go and not allow myself the opportunity to move on from my grief. To use my personal grief against me is not just insensitive, but wrong in many ways. They failed to tell me that my children would inherit the responsibility for maintenance fees and the total interest that I would be paying over time was not clearly communicated to me. I have consistently encountered difficulties booking resorts at desired times, with more than half of my attempts resulting in unavailability. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your concern. As we review your account, we see that you originally purchased with our company in 2017 (note 2023). You have enhanced your VI ownership over the years and most recently when you used your vacation program to vacation to ********* (May 2023). That recent purchase was $3,999; you had a balance before that purchase. The amount of $55,000 is not accurate.
Your children WILL NOT inherit your timeshare; if you pass away the account is cancelled upon proof of death. Assuming you have been chatting with a timeshare exit team who is also unable to cancel out your financial obligation and you are frustrated.
Please contact over the phone our loan department who will be able to offer you some options that might be satisfactory to you. We look forward to working on a mutual resolution with you.

We have owned VI Resorts for many years. We have SAVED so much money not having to deal with hotels. VI is very straight forward and easy to use. Having the space and amenities of a condo is priceless. We love all the ******** Islands and have used VI to go. ********* resort is an amazing location. This business is a total scam. What they sell and what they deliver is on two different planets. My wife and I bought into this BS and gave them upfront money based of their promises . When we realized that it wasn't up to par, we requested a refund They sell you on VILLAS and luxury properties when all they have to offer is no better than a courtyard Marriott . I want my refund for my deposit that I was pressured into paying and all other payments made for this bogus contract paid. Can you please call your sales location so that they may help you with the benefits of the program? VI has been in business since **** and have over ****** owners so we are not a scam; however please allow us the opportunity to get you back on track.

They say if you go to their seminar you get a free vacation they say you have to call a different company VI resorts is a scam they sign you up at booths at festival to get you to go to there seminars Warning walk by them and dont fall for there free vacation scamVacation Internationale Inc. We see that you attended a presentation with our company in September 2023. We see that you received your promotional trip as promised. The trip was never promised as free, as taxes must be paid. The certificate if from a third party and we can have them reach out to you to help you finalize your trip as long as you have sent in the required document.
VI is celebrating our 50th year in business this year and can guarantee you that we are not a scam. We did ask for 90 minutes of your time to attend a presentation in exchange for a 2 night 3 day stay.

Thank you for your concern. VI has been in business sine **** and is not a scam. The product and services are available for those members that are in good standing.
As advised, you purchased on July 19th 2023. You contacted our office on August 19th 2023 to rescind. Your VI Agreement states you had 7 days to rescind in writing, at which you did not do. Paragraph 15 of your Agreement also states that you have forfeited your down payment; in exchange we removed the entire financial obligation owing and coded the account so that it would not be turned over to a collection company for failure to be paid on a financial obligation. In addition, we did not report this to the credit bureaus. Your program is available to reinstate at anytime and you can use those funds towards the down payment.

This business is scum! They tell you all these things to entice you to buy ownership tell you its for a life time so you buy and that you can cancel anytime but you lose your deposit $1200 and then They say they have their loan officer ******* you after their trial time is over and then he tells you that you signed a loan and there is no option to cancel. THIS IS FRAUD THIS BUSINESS IS A LIE. Im asking for a cancel and they are saying whoever told me should have said I could cancel and the lady ***** or whatever her name is at ****************** hangs up on me. Very professional.
