I am contacting you the better Business bureau because I have a friend that bought a car from j&a Auto for $20,000 and on day one got a blown out tire after driving it off the lot was locking lug nuts and no lug nut key left her stranded and her dad on the side of the freeway for hours she drove the car for a few weeks and it broke down and it has been in the shop since *** and A Auto told her to go to c&m Auto repair so she had to tell her vehicle at her expense after telling her that they would pay her half and she never received the $200 and they also said that they would pay half the bill for the car to get fixed because she didn't even have the car for 30 days yet the bill for the vehicle to get it is 5000 and she can't get it j&j Auto to do what they would say and pay for half of the bill and the towing fees **** Auto referred her to c&m Auto repairBusiness response

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to file a formal complaint against J&A Auto Salon LLC, Address: **************************************************************** regarding their failure to fulfill their contractual obligations in relation to a vehicle transaction that took place on 1/9/2024. My name is **************, and I entered into a vehicle purchase agreement with J&A Auto Salon LLC, represented by **************************************, on the date. The agreement included the trade-in of my existing vehicle and the financing of the new purchase through INDUSTRIAL CREDIT UNION. I fulfilled my part of the agreement by signing all necessary documents and securing a loan from INDUSTRIAL CREDIT UNION.However, I regret to inform you that J&A Auto Salon LLC has not honored its commitment to pay off the trade-in loan with WSECU as agreed upon in the contract. This failure on their part has put me in a difficult financial situation and has the potential to negatively impact my credit standing.Furthermore, I have not received my permanent vehicle registration and plates for the new vehicle, despite the completion of the transaction. This withholding of essential documents is causing significant inconvenience and impeding my ability to fully utilize the purchased vehicle.Their actions are in violation of the terms outlined in the signed agreement, and I find it necessary to seek the intervention of the ********** of ********* to address this matter promptly.I kindly request the Better Business Bureau to investigate this complaint and take appropriate actions to ensure the resolution of this issue. Additionally, I would appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide to expedite the release of my permanent registration and plates.Enclosed with this letter, please find copies of the relevant documents, including the signed vehicle purchase agreement, loan contract with INDUSTRIAL credit union Thank you for your attention to this matter. To begin with, on my way home immediately after purchasing the car, I encountered a hazardous situation. The tires were excessively worn, resulting in a blowout tire. To my astonishment, the vehicle had locking lug nuts, and I had not been provided with a key for these. This left me stranded and in a potentially dangerous predicament.Regrettably, the problems did not stop there. Approximately a week and a half later, the car broke down unexpectedly. It simply refused to stay running, leaving me stranded once again. Since that unfortunate incident, my life has been plagued by numerous visits to the mechanic and countless hours spent troubleshooting and repairing the vehicle.In my pursuit to remedy the situation, I have replaced several essential components of the car, including the mass airflow sensor, map sensor, O2 sensor, spark plugs, coil packs, fuel injectors, tension pulley, and idle pulley. Despite these efforts, the car has continued to exhibit alarming symptoms, notably a concerning knocking noise. This unreliability has caused me to miss several days of work and has inflicted a tremendous amount of stress and uncertainty upon me.Business response

The customer purchased the vehicle As Is. She saw the condition of the tires prior to the purchase. After the blow out, we reimbursed her for the new tires she purchased. The car is currently with us and we took it to a mechanic. We are doing everything in good-faith for the customer. Not sure why we got a complaint from her. It is up to the customer to check the used vehicle that they are purchasing. We run them through a pre-sale inspection and afterwards the vehicle sits on the lot. Anything could happen once its purchased and customer starts driving.

I purchased a ****** WRX 2017. Through **** day auto exactly 90 days today and I have only been able to drive the vehicle. Maybe 30 days due to. The vehicle breaking down. The first started with the tire blowing out the first day. I got it and having locking blood notes on the rim so I couldn't take off the tires to put the spare on and I was broke down on the side of the road for 2 and a 1/2 hours. I had to buy all 4 new tires for a car. I just purchased the Same day and then I drove it for a week and a 1/2 and a broke down and I had to replace the 02 Sensor the map sensor the mass air flow sensor the fuel injectors. The coil packs bark plugs the Poly. This is probably adding up to about $3000 of putting into the car. The first 30 days I got it. And then I was driving it through town and an knocking noise started so I was able to get the car into a shop that the dealership told me to take it to and I had to pay half the Towing bill to get it to Bellevue. And now they're ****. I need a whole new engine and I've always had this car for 90 days today and I don't think I should have to pay for any of this if I purchased a car for $20000.
