I moved out of this apartment complex August 27, 2022. I was sent an email from the management office notifying me that I was to be refunded my security deposit. The amount I am owed is $100, and per **************** law, I am to be distributed my refund after having moved out, no later than 21 days after I moved out/ was notified of my refund. It has been 2 months since I received notification that I was due a refund, and I have still not been refunded. I have called multiple times to check on the status of my refund, verified that my forwarding address was provided and is accurate, and requested immediate assistance from higher management. I still have no answers and no refund. I have reached out to the ** Justice progress for assistance in this matter as well.Initial Complaint

On 9/9/21 I was issued an invoice for the return of a security deposit for when my daughter who was living there while attending college, but with no payment. Since I was paying for the apartment I have been in contact with several different people, local and regional management and I get a similar response every time. That their accounting department is backed up and theyll check into it and get back to me. Nobody gets back to me and I reach out again, and the cycle continues. It is now been eight months of the checks in the mail, its in process and youll have it by the end of the month, or let me check into that for you type of statements.
