This business sells insurance policies and then refused to honor the time lines by delivering the replacement products, saying the insurance company had not paid them for the claim. *********, stated clearly they had authorization for three weeks. They had to pick up the faulty sofa and replace it with items selected in the store. They then charged another delivery fee of ***** even though they had to remove the faulty item. That put us over the insured amount by ***** and they charged for the full amount. They said when our truck goes out people have to pay. The sales rep. was not only disrespectful but rude and lied to us. Even the insurance company said that with multiple dealings with the company they clearly knew the steps involved and were selectively holding up on delivery of the replacement items covered by the insurance policy. He continued to say he was not able to help early on in the claim as it was strictly a third party, the insurance company was difficult to deal with the long hold times, delays in response, to have the item checked out etc`. When we asked him for help as he was the person who sold the policy, he refused saying it was all on us to manage the claim. Eventually the insurance company, after many months, finalized the claim and advised the company to give us the credit of in store merchandise and stated that they agreed with us: the furniture company was being VERY unprofessional. They had to call the store AGAIN. That was when he stalled and was just flat difficult to deal with and delayed the service intended.
