      I bought a 16" jointer direct from Grizzly and less than a year later it's broken down. It is still under warranty but they have no service techs and won't do anything about it unless I ship it back to the company, which is cost prohibitive. I asked them to send me a set of bearings, and they won't do that either. They will sell them to me. So the warranty is worthless, and the shop[ is experiencing major downtime.

      C*** support from Teknatool Nova and Grizzly Ind.I bought this machine from Grizzly after conversations with the Grizzly floor sales stating that it was a great product with no problems or complaints. I am having problems with this thing showing code 4's that the motor will not start (DUH N.S....) Teknatool's customer service fix is to have the customer tear apart the machine and at your expense ship it from **************** to *******. After not wanting to tear a 60 day old machine apart and pay to ship, I said no, and disputed this policy. I was hung up on for being upset and received a follow-up email from Nova that I was out of line for being "unreasonable". Their warranty states you are responsible for the shipping and labor and all things regarding it. "You bought it, it's yours now". Grizzly will not help you at all with their 3rd-party sales; so if you buy anything 3rd-party from Grizzly, be aware they will not assist you with it, or refund your money, or help in settling "your" problem. Beware of all implied warranties through middle-man suppliers. Be very careful with this ****************** as they will not service you, let alone respond. PS: I wanted to like this product.

      The sold ** the wrong saw it's not what we need and I was willing to bring it back plus pay extra for the saw I need and they still want full price and said they can't take the saw they sold me back unless it's broken

      This company hires some of the worst attitudes of any I've bought from. Never again. They lost a ton of money from me. They act like there's no one else to buy from.

      Bought top line cabinet saw late January. Just started large project and had only used saw for several hours total for first time. Had no immediate issues and was very pleased with saw. Went to start it and motor sounded very labored then suddenly there was a very loud explosive pop and smoke everywhere. Start capacitor blew. They had a 120vac capacitor installed in a 240 vac 3hp motor. Grizzly technical says this is ok. My electrical engineering manuals say absolutely not. You cannot run 120 vac capacitors in *************************************************** they will overheat, melt and explode. While Grizzly is sending me a new one under warranty with a 220vac rating, they seemed unwilling and uncaring to discuss this issue technically with me. I considered this a big safety and quality control issue but nevertheless they seemed indifferent and just wanted to ship out a new capacitor and leave it at that. Not what I would expect from a large Industrial tool manufacturing company. This really turned me off considering I have purchased several of their higher end pieces of woodworking equipment. Will see how the higher rated capacitor works. Hopefully this has not been caused due to a internal problem with the motor wiring. At least I have 9 months left on my warranty and plenty of work left to put the saw thru its paces. BTW...the saw was never overloaded due to improper work load at any time. The saw itself cuts like a dream.

      If I could add a zero star review I would. Where to start. I thought Grizzly was a quality brand but now I believe they have gone to, well excrement. I bought a bandsaw, drill press, drum sander and spindle sander for my home woodworking shop. The blade for the bandsaw was dull. They had to send me a new one which took 5 days. The drill press was missing a set s**** for the table height adjustment, the drum sander is now a 500lb paperweight as they jacked their price for a replacement drum right after I reached out about the catastrophic failure. To be fair the unit was used when I got it but it was in great shape and no reason for this part to fail the way it did. They could not even explain it. Do I expect them to replace under warranty? No, but the week after me reaching out the price for the parts increased 32%!!!!! Sorry Grizzly but your quality, customer service and overall business is junk at this point. I will NOT spend another ***** for their equipment, NEW or USED. Highly recommend steering clear for your purchases. Just read the reviews!

      Do not go near this company. They have no idea how to package their products properly to survive US common carrier trucking. They put a 90 pound Planer/Jointer in a single wall cardboard box with a flimsy Styrofoam insert and not on a pallet. You can imagine what it looked like when it arrived. Busted and broken. I had to threaten to claw back my money via the credit card company to get a RMA from them. They have no idea what they are doing with the packaging of their products.

      I supposedly purchased a combo ****** from them for $749.00. It was back ordered so I believe I cancelled the order. Grizzly disagrees, saying i ordered it. I have no email from them telling me it was back in stock or that it was shipping. I got a call from the freight company asking for delivery info, which started my nightmare. Long story short, Grizzly wants to charge me $358.00 for shipping and return along with a $55.00 restock fee. I live in ***** and they want to ship it back to ******** instead of the shorter distance to **********, **. There is no give in these people. I am stuck at this point. Never another Grizzly machine will ever sit in my shop. Stay away form these crooks.

      Got table saw after many years of wanting one. Tried to use the miter guide to cut some wood could not get miter glide to go in the left slot more than 7 inches. Tried right slot it worked but was tite. Called customer service they are going to send me a new table top but I have to tear saw apart and replace it. This is not something I caused it's a manufacturer defect that should be taken care of by grissly. I love saw but am very disappointed and probably won't be buying any thing else from them.

      The sales person told me they could deliver same day since I am 10 minuets away from the warehouse. I paid an extra 150 so my employees could get the equipment and meet a deadline. It showed up 3 days later, they said they would review the call to see if I could get refunded shipping. They called me back and said that I was told **** business days while on the call. Total Liars!
