Spectrum was contracted to do all the plumbing on our new construction sfr. When we moved in we discovered the freestanding tub had not been leveled and wobbled meaning it could not be sealed to the wall and water would flow behind the tub if you took a shower(early November and this is the only tub/shower in the house). We immediately called to inform them but they did not answer the phone or respond to voice-mail. We continued to call/text periodically but never received any response, all the while we could only take baths in our own house(no showers). On Jan 22 I decided to just try to fix it myself. I got it partway apart but something seemed stuck and wrong so I called in a third party emergency plumber. He told us that the tub had been installed completely incorrectly and it was going to be very difficult to fix. Now the tub is taken apart in a way that it is not usable at all. We call spectrum Monday from my moms phone and they answered on the first ring( I think they had been ignoring our calls). We informed them of the situation and they came out immediately. They took the tub apart further and said they needed to order a part. They have now given us 3 days that they loosely say they will come finish the tub and have canceled every time, citing that they are waiting for the part (even though I am 90% sure you could get the part at lowes). We have been without a shower since November and now without a way to clean ourselves for 2 weeks due to their negligence and I believe they are continuing to give us the runaround.
