I would never recommend *************************** under any business name or license!Why? ************************* business Keeping Comfort LLC was originally assigned as a contractor by my home warranty company. When they would not approve the replacement of my furnance, we got him to provide a quote for installing a new furnace, add a heat pump for air conditioning, and add a new air conditioner to the existing furnace on the other side of my house. We thought it was fantastic to support a small business that was just establishing itself where we were paying the owner to do the work with his own hands. $8K later, and we find out that not only did he not complete the installation for both the heat pump and the new a/c, he also did a bad job. We had to pay over $1K out of pocket to fix his mistakes. Mistakes like permanently closing the filter replacement trap WITHOUT a filter in it and not telling us there wasn't a filter. Mistakes like not connecting the new AC to drain the condensation, it freezing up and flooding water in to the electric box and permanently killing the panel so that neither heat nor AC would work. Those are just two of the incomplete or incorrect things he did. We tried so hard to give him the chance to finish his job and correct anything that might've been lingeting. We gave him so much encouragement and ***** matter how many times he no showed or came 8 hours later. He never came when he said he would, and wouldn't return emails or phone calls or text messages WHILE he was doing the install. Much less in the weeks and months after he made many promises to come back and finish the job. When he finally responded months after promising to come back, it was to tell me that he closed his business and let his license expire over a child support battle. He promised to come the next day to fix it without his license and we never heard from him again. And he only responded after I threatened to report him to the **** L&I and leave bad reviews.
