      After two years of being a loyal customer, ******************** jacked up my rate by 50% while still offering my old price to new customers. Thats their version of loyalty? No warning, no negotiation, just a slap in the face.

      ******** company and bad customer service. Doesn't surprise me that they aren't BBB accredited. They are losing customers faster than they are gaining, not sure why they wont work with their current customers before we cancel. What a joke.

      This company has failed to refund $800 for equipment that has been returned over a month. Ive contacted them multiple times, and they consistently tell me that the refund will be processed within the next 22 days. Be aware, this company is another example of a business that fails to meet its obligations to consumers.

      **************** isnt customer service. Its a collection agency. They arent there to help, just to get money they think you owe. Ive called multiple times and been told different things. But its very obvious that they dont care about the business practices they use to get your money.

      Terrible phone tree when calling in takes forever to get to a representative.Service is intermittent at best. Any network-sensitive activity (gaming or streaming a production onto the internet) is constantly besieged by jitter and instability. I use both residential and commercial (business) and both are awful. On the business side we have to run our production off an alternative solution because the astound connection results in an astronomical amount of dropped frames when trying to deliver video to our audience. It's a joke of a product and if I could use harsher language here I would. If I could rate less than 1 star I would.

      When we initially signed up we were told our home installation kit would arrive within 3-5 business days. After a week without receiving it I called back and was told there was a mistake in the system and that it was never shipped, but ensured me that it would be shipped out that day and received by the end of week. I have a young child with disabilities that require a reliable internet access, which I explained to the agent. A week passes and still no package. I called back again and was told that it still hadn't been sent out. I explained again the importance of reliable WiFi connection for our child's devices, and that I'd at that point already maxed out and was paying extra through my cell phone provider to maintain a hotspot for them. I was told it would be another 3-5 days business days for delivery, at which point I asked to speak to a supervisor. After being put on hold for an hour, I was told that they had a courier who would had picked up the equipment and would be delivering it the next day and that a supervisor would be contacting me within 24 hours. Another *************************************** call. I call back again, and am told that it still has not been shipped, so I ask to cancel. The agent lets me know that they can have a technician out the following morning to install our equipment. We experienced our first outage the first evening it was installed. I power-cycled the modem, and was able to get it up. A week later we experienced another outage that was unable to be resolved by power-cycling. I contacted Astound and was told it would be 4 days before they could have a technician out to diagnose it. I explained my frustration, already waiting over 2 weeks to receive the service and that there would be another wait, along with the importance of reliable service for our kid and that I'd already spent $100 in hot-spot overages that month to keep things up. They continued to insist there was nothing they could do, and that I had to wait.

      Never had a worse experience with an internet provider, customer service isn't bad but they literally cannot help with the connection whatsoever. Best advice I can give to someone considering Astound Broadband is to move somewhere else where there is another option. This company is only in business because they have a monopoly in the area, nothing more.

      I switched from ******* to ***, who rebranded under the name Astound(I wonder why...). Astound just installed me less than 2 weeks ago, but this is the 4th time my internet went down in those 2 weeks with Astound. Their customer support *****, too. I contact their customer support to find out why my internet is down AGAIN, and he reboots my router without even asking me first. I had just rebooted my router and it was still coming back online, so when he rebooted the router without permission, he made me have to wait twice as long to get online. I regret the decision to switch to Astound Broadband. I used to have *** in the late 90s and early 2000s, and they were good back then. Now they **** worst than ******** Im sick and tired of having to reboot their router to get online. I have never had a more unreliable internet connection, and thats saying a lot since my degree is in Network Security. I cant even stream a ******** game with Astound internet because they give you such low upload speeds. Web pages often take ***** seconds to load with Astound, but would load within 1-3 seconds on ******* internet. WORST INTERNET EVER!!!! BUYER BEWARE, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

      I live in *****, **. Astound is the only internet option outside T-Mobile or Starlink. We have been in our new nuild home for 7 weeks. I was originally told it would take 5 days to get internet from Astound then 5 days later advised that it would take 4-6 weeks. It has now been 7 weeks and still Astound has not contacted me to install. I work from home and internet is a necessity. I have ended up going to T-mobile to get internet. So far it has been worked but I have 2 modems in my home. There are 10 homes being built in my neighborhood and I will advise each of the new home owners about my experience with Astound and encourage them to go to T-Mobile or Starlink. Hopefully ******* will become available because at least you know what you are getting. There is a reason that Astound is rated 1 star because the only way the leave a review is you have to give them a 1 star. Astound is the worst company.

      I received a email regarding my compliant file with BBB about Astound and was asked to include the review which I am unable to get back too. It really doesn't matter. The Astound installer and Supervisor promised to have my internet installed in 5 days and the. When I called Astound, the agent advised it.would.take 4-6 weeks. It has now been 8.weeks and still nothing have been done. I work remotely for a very large cruise line and have advise my company IT department to not allow our remote agents to.use Astound. In addition, there are 10 new homes being ******** my area and I advise both the builder and new home buyers not to use Astound but will refer them to T-mobile or Star Link. I am also petitioning for ******* to service this area. There is a reason why Astound has a one star rating. There service and billing practices and terrible.

      Liars and thieves. Astound broadband powered by wave. I'm located in *******, **********. Phone *** lowered my monthly payment because the price doubled overnight. *** said pay 140 today and that will cover Jan-Mar. Now I have a bill due for March. It was on a recorded line but they won't review to hear and honor what the *** told me on the phone. Shady. Bad customer service.
