This company is clearly scamming people. I had them come out to repair my kitchen aid refrigerator. I paid them almost $500.00 and I am still having the same problem. Since then, I have tried to get in contact with someone and have had no luck. They don't answer calls, their emails come back as undeliverable and can't really find much info on the internet. Please save yourself the trouble and money and like everyone else says here, Do Not Hire Them!Review from Brandi B

This company is a scam! They charged me $200 to come out and look at my dishwasher back in April and order the parts and now I can't get ahold of them. I can't find them on the internet and they do not answer their phone or return messages. I have called numerous times and left messages and no return phone calls. At this point all I can do is call my bank and see if I can get the charges reversed. Oh, and the 1 star review is being generous! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!Review from Donna L

HomeSquad sent a tech out to troubleshoot our oven on June 9 2023 He indicated that he needed to order new parts for the repair and charged our credit card $450 Its been four weeks and I have left at least 4 messages to get an update and have yet to get a response I believe this company is scamming people with deceptive practices Id rate it a zero but the rating system requires at least 1 starReview from Fred H

UNAUTHORIZED AND UNRESOLVED CHARGE TO MY CREDIT CARD!On 5/18/2023, we had a very nice repairman spend less than 5 mins trouble shooting a very simple problem on our GE dishwasher. In fact, the problem was more an operational issue on our part and not the machine.Anyway, the repairman wrote up a charge for $193.38 which was the minimum for a visit, which we paid at the time of service. We had no problem with this, and we were just glad that we didnt have to wash dishes by hand anymore. End of story?Well we thought so, but we were wrong. On 6/20/2023, I had a $878.48 charge randomly withdrawn from my checking account by **********************. Thinking that it must be just an error on their part, I called Home Squad to disscuss the situation and also left a message with details of why I was calling. I called 6 times and left 3 messages within a 3 day period and never received a call back. In the meantime, I called ***** Fargo, which is where I bank and they took over and are following up. Its now been 6 days and neither myself or ***** Fargo have heard back from anyone at Home Squad.Review from Charles D

My parent's dryer went out and they just wanted to get it repaired. They contacted Home Squad because they live in a rural area and this company says they service the area. Home Squad has a deal where the standard visit for 1 appliance is kind of pricey but you can have them look at another appliance for much less. So my Mom had them look at the washer and dryer and they found some needed maintenance on both as well as what sounded like reasonable repairs for the dryer. They required 50% down for the repairs and would need to order parts. The Tech claimed it would be a week. A week later no one has called or shown up so my Mom contacted them again, the parts hadn't been ordered and no follow up appointment had been scheduled. They assure my Mom on the phone that they will be ordering the parts right then and schedule her for service the following Tuesday(1 day shy of a second week). No show on Tuesday, they text my Mom that the service is actually Wednesday. No show Wednesday. They are no longer returning her calls. My Dad is undergoing in home ************* my parents need to be able to do laundry. The lack of follow through and now the total lack of response is really frustrating and terrible business.Review from Lloyd L

Your tech **** came because no A/C. Both the furnace and heat pump was installed on 12/26/2019 and covered fully parts and labor. Your date of service was 6/28/2022. I paid the $587.50 and $1000 for parts and repairs on a fully warrantied furnace and heat pump because **** said it would be refunded when they got it from Trane. Trane's warranty is for 10 years parts and labor. I spoke with Trane warranty division and they have NO record it was EVER FILED for reimbursement! Don't sign anything from this company w/out reading EVERYTHING! There receipt states, will refund customer when the warranty is approved. A very bad business!!!!!!!Review from Soo O

Very bad customer services!I have all information documented. I called for a furnace tuning and was given the *********** 2/17 9-12noon. A technician guy(****) came out and clean up the furnace and did the regular maintenance. As he was cleaning and brushing the furnace valve (or something like that), I was in the garage with him as well with one of the garage door wide open. I also assisted to turn off/on the circuit on the electric panel for the furnace at his requests. Suddenly at one point the fire was shooting out from the furnace through the door, luckily I didnt have anything foreign objects near the furnace at all. **** asked me to quickly turn off the furnace circuit (I was only arm length from the electrical panel), thankfully the fire subsided immediately. Apparently he forgot to cap one of the valve therefore the fire came shooting out from the furnace as the gas was blowing. It was definitely a scary moment, it feels like going to burn down my house if wasnt there to supervise and turn off the circuit. Just imagine the length he has to walk to the electrical panel from my furnace, by the time he managed to do that my house will be on fire. The company billed me $199+tax for the maintenance. Guess what?! My furnace didnt work that night. It kept making sounds and the thermostat never came up to temperature. We were cold the whole night. So the next morning I called to schedule to have them to come back out to check the furnace, but they cant because theyre fully booked until the following week. Meanwhile, I just have to do with space heaters and my wood stove (mind you it was a freezing week). They gave me a date 2/22, I cant make it because it was the kids midwinter break and we had a getaway plan. So we rescheduled to 2/28, same technician came out and checked on the furnace and claimed that our gas valves is not working well and need replacement. It costs $300 for the part and labor. We agreed to it and he replaced the valves.
