K and B solutions ripped some vinyl off my house and disposed of it during a remodel project at my house. They were obviously supposed to replace it. I originally thought they would reuse the existing vinyl. Its been months since it was removed and it seems that the owner has ghosted me and has no intention of finishing the project he started. I am now left looking for vinyl to put up as the existing vinyl was thrown out.Business response

Our intentions have always been to finish your job. We apoligize the miscommunication. We always get back to people in a timely manner. We very carefully took the siding off of your house and put it in the crawlspace so that we can *********. We have been looking for the window trim for you everywhere and cant find it. We even asked you to ask your neighbors which have the same siding if they know of anywhere to find this. We had you in the schedule for the 6th of august but since we had no plastic window trim you had texted us saying "whats the point". In our last conversation you mentioned you found the trim and would take care of it in your free time. If you would like to resolve this matter you can call us anytime. I am rejecting this response because:
The response raises more questions than it answers.
It is true that you placed the siding in the crawl space. I did not know that and just looked this evening. However, that makes me wonder why you told me that you were going to need to order two squares of siding to replace my old siding at a cost of over ************************************************************* new siding. We were not scheduled to visit on August sixth. You actually said youd be here the 8th and 9th of September. However, I did not here from or see you those days and didnt receive any other correspondence from you until September 19th. Please dont quote me saying something I didnt say. I never said there is no point in you coming over to put up siding. You didnt have the necessary pieces to put up so what was there to do? You said you dont have the window trim. The window trim goes on before siding so even if you wanted to use existing siding, you couldnt put it up. As far as asking my neighbors for information on their siding, they have different siding. They also dont know where to get it because they hired a company to install the siding. Whatever company they hired saw that project through and it was never left to them, the customer, to find material. I sent you pictures of the siding back in February, months before the project started. There was ample time to procure the proper material. If the proper material was not obtainable, this should have been discussed before ripping all the siding off and leaving my house exposed as rainy months were coming. There was definitely a lock in communication, as I did not hear from you from September 21st until November 2nd. That is unsatisfactory and certainly not timely communication.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that it is as resolved as it will be. I was refunded money that I was charged for the part of the service that I did not received and have to decided to finish this project myself. I too wish it did not have to go this far, but at least this has brought some sort of a resolution.
