      I called Washington State Investigators today, May 15th, 2023 at 7:14 pm seeking help with me and my sons very traumatizing case of long term abuse by a psychotic family member. I had just found information that might finally have provided some relief to her acts of domestic terrorism and ****** searched legal help for internet crimes when I found the website of Washington State Investigators. I read through much of the websites business description and information on internet crimes before I called the phone number to the *******/****** location. The man who answered the phone was beyond rude and extremely insensitive as he criticized me after I explained my situation. After I briefly described what I was dealing with and had just found, he told me I didnt make any sense in what I reported to him, he was tired and didnt want to deal with me, didnt need or want my business, and invited me to file complaint with the BBB. I asked if there was someone else at the company I could talk to abs he said hes the only one there because hes the owner. This was the most unprofessional person I may have ever come in contact with while looking to purchase a service and his response to my call was nothing short of abusive in itself. This person should either not take calls at his business when he is behaving so erratically and unprofessionally, or he should not allowed to be in business at all. As someone who just explained to him my very traumatic experiences of long term multi-facted methods of being terrorized by my abuser, his negative, demeaning, dismissive response was surprisingly traumatizing as it felt very much like the abuse Ive suffered from for nearly a decade and was looking for help in ending.

      Hello,

      I am replying to the BBB's two requests to respond to a complaint, and because the BBB stated in writing "if I do not respond within the time frame allotted, it will negatively affect my BBB rating". The BBB also stated my reply will be made public.  

      I received a phone call one evening. I asked the person to explain the reason for their call which is typical normal operating procedure. After listening to the person attempt to explain the reason for the call, I asked what services I can provide, as I still didn't understand the reason for the call. It was apparent the caller was very upset, and had trouble explaining the purpose for her call. As it was late and I was unable to understand any details about this call, or status of the caller, I stated I'm going to decline to provide assistance. 

      After I declined assistance, I was called rude and mean, and she continued commenting that she did nothing wrong for me to decline assistance. I explained I didn't understand the purpose of her call or what services will be required, and I felt we were not a good fit to provide assistance.

      As I do not want to make light of her situation, I want to apologize for making her feel I was rude and mean to her during our phone conversation, and for declining assistance.
