1/17/23-2/14/23: Gave ******************* 14K in checks to "start the job" per his demand. His Landscape business Scamming in ***** continued for months! **********************************, ************** SPECIALTY SERVICES is NOT licensed, bonded or insured! He continues to demand cash payments up front for thousands of dollars, doesn't show up, spends minimum on the job, buys no materials and does not finish the project. 7 people have turned him into the *************************** and 2 have tried to *** him. The *********** has assessed thousands of dollars in fines. He responds to NOTHING and has asks customers for more money in extortion-like actions when they complain!I tried to file suit but his bond had been canceled, I learned from ******** L &I. They filed a fraud claim. His insurance denied my claim. I dismissed my lawsuit as the attorneys threatened to make me pay their fees to defend the case.I spent over 25K in lost funds, filing and attorney fees and then had to pay 27K to have my yard, damaged fence repaired and complete the project properly. The *** was not happy with me for the months of muddy mess!I could not use my back yard at all, nor could my dog or granddaughters until June!He claims he's a hometown ***** guy, who's wife works downtown ***** and uses his charm and slimey lies to bilk residents out of their money. He is a supreme scam artist! He will take your money and return nothing but excuses, zero effort and ****** attempts at his promised, contracted projects. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW HIM TO CONTINUE TO STEAL MONEY FROM LOCAL ***** RESIDENTS!! I posted a warning on the NEXTDOOR app and others replied that they had also been victims of his scam. How can we put him out of business and run him out of town??Initial Complaint

We signed a contract on 2/24/2023 with the contractor and paid a portion of the payment for down payment/materials ($21,700). He has started working and get some materials delivered. The estimated completion date was 5/1/2023, he did not deliver on time but instead he asked for the remaining amount to be paid to resume the work. We did not pay anymore and there was no progress. There was no work done since 5/18, he has not responded to our email/text/call in a week. Recently we learnt that there are few neighbors who experience similar situation with this contractor. We are informed that his license was suspended and recently expired, he is neither bonded/insured.
