Citywide Custom Gutters installed new gutters on my home on 7/1/2022. I was at home during the installation and after the first gutter run was hung, I mentioned to the head crew member, *****, that the gutters looked like they were hung way too low. ***** then boasted about his 16 years of experience installing gutters and assured me that the gutters were hung at the correct height and there would be no issues. The crew then proceeded to install the rest of the gutter runs.A few days later, I decided to do a water test (which Citywide never did, but should have) and sure enough, the gutters were too low - a moderate amount of water running off the roof, overshot the gutters.At this point it was clear the gutters were installed incorrectly, so I decided to inspect the gutters more closely and found these installation problems:1. One gutter run was missing crimps on the end cap 2. One gutter run was made too long, pushing my roof rake flashing, which is problematic because the rake sits in a cleat and with enough sustained force will come undone.3. One gutter end was screwed through my siding instead of into the roof rafter tail 4. One gutter downspout drop outlet was missing sealant 5. There was a hole in a gutter run where a gutter s**** was missing - There was a missing washer on a gutter s**** Upon bringing these concerns up with Citywide Custom Gutters I was told they would only do the repairs if I paid them $400 ON TOP OF the original amount I already paid. This is unacceptable given the concerns were all mistakes of the installation by Citywide Custom Gutters.
