If I can give zero stars I would. Horrible communication. Told me job would be two days. Asked for 65% down for materials. Made his worker pay out of pocket to do the lil work that was done and pay for materials. Hired them to replace my back yard fence so my dogs can have their space to run around. Showed up like twice a week for a couple hrs. Repeatedly asked for money back or materials bought to have someone else finish the job. No response From email, text, calling nothing. No receipt for deposit down. No explanation for anything. No apologies. Had to hire a different company to finish the job they couldn't do in the time they said they would. Was a month later and still wasn't done. Now I am out over **** for materials. Very horrible company.

Project started early October. Four weeks into the project they reached out & asked for $7k so they could buy supplies for my next project. I said no, and reminded them that this project is 15% complete. They provided nothing but excuses the next 3 months. We asked for owner, ****** to look at the shoddy workmanship and he ignored us completely for almost 2-months. However he found some time on December 19th to take a look. He said he would come up with a plan & get back to us. Instead he had his receptionist call us to try and collect the balance. She said the final steps were for the roofers and rail guy to come out. I told her that we are not even close to being done or ready for shingles at this point. She said that ****** had everything figured out and vendors would be out early January to complete all the work, so she needed payment in full. We did not pay everything in full. At this point he has not even attempted to repair the main headers which he cut short and shoved shims to make up the length. The vertical support beam is cracked due to it not being pre drilled before lags where put in. The pitch on each porch cover is different, nothing is consistent. Not one thing was completed. Left us with more work then what we started with. We requested he contact us multiple times to make this right & he chose to walk away with the $5200 instead. He continues to ghost us. It is now Feb 24th, 5 months into this and *********************************** is ok with walking away from a project with no communication. The insurance company said I will probably be standing in line for my turn after all other bonds get paid out. His bond is only $12k, so if your project is more than that you should ask for a larger bond and get a signed contract. That is where our attorney told us we failed. His joist program does not provide a signed executed contract for your records. All we can do at this point is share our horrible experience. Photos available at your request.

The exact details are as follows. **** came out to the house and took measurement of the space and gave us a general estimate a few days later. Then I asked for the quote to be itemized because we were comparing quotes. Week after week I had to keep following up and every time I was assured that **** would have it to me in a few days. A few days would pass, and I received nothing. Time and time again. Over a month later Im told **** needs to come back out because he wanted to go over the specifics to make sure hes giving me the correct quote. I found this to be a bit annoying but I agreed to meet at a specific time on a specific date. That prearranged time comes and goes and 15 minutes after the agreed upon meet time I havent received a phone call. If you have a meeting that day and the plans change, youre supposed to call. I decided to check my email to see if maybe they sent me something. Turns out they did, 15 minutes before the prearranged meet time. It was a simple message saying that theyll be there after lunch, which could mean anything. I have no idea when lunch is or when it ends. So I have to pull information to get another generic response saying it would be any time they should be on their way. From where? Again, that could mean anything. Im still annoyed at this point but, I decided to be flexible and not make it an issue. **** finally arrived 30 minutes late with his employee who didnt introduce himself after I introduced myself, so I dont know his name. **** ends up NOT having anything to go over with me to finalize the specifics like I was told. He just had to remeasure because he threw away the original data after he sent that general quote. They took a couple rough measurements and when discussing the soundproofing options ***** employee said he was interested in how **** would do the soundproofing. We were discussing things and talking about glue and different types of foam boards and ***** employee said he only knew it by one name but he wouldnt say it, then not more than 5 seconds later he decided to say it anyways and called it ************* Thats right, he dropped a hard N word right in front of us.I dont know why this guy felt so comfortable using that term in front of his employer, let alone customers, but I can only assume it wasnt the first time it had been said. He then said that he wouldnt call it that out there, as if our home was a place for racist comments. I can assure you it is not. **** not only didnt correct him, which forced me to comment that it was an extremely inappropriate thing to say, he didnt even apologize to me that day, or the day after. He had one of his employees email me a generic apology because he didnt clue them into the entire situation either. And in that email he decided to double down and reassure me that the term used is what those boards are called. I scoured the Internet trying to find a piece of construction material with that name and came up empty. **** didnt even have the decency to call me himself to apologize. And to top it off, Im still waiting on my itemized quote
