Pat from pjs transportation took my money on transportation services. I told him I would be fine waiting until we had a better window. He insisted he could make it and had excuses for me to bring him 50% cash down (I have a receipt and a signed contract between us) so he could pay for fuel and leave immediately. When he allegedly arrived in ** I put him in direct contact with the seller. Which lead to excuse after excuse about how far out he was and when he would be there. The seller had friends come over to help load up the trailer and equipment multiple times for days! *** said he was merely 30 mins away for 2 days which only lead to more excuses about why he had still failed to arrive. The window the seller was available had closed however they were still able to have help ant the ready. After he quit answering my calls I knew something was up. I was finally able to reach him and told him I was uncomfortable with the way things were going and he gladly offered a refund.Problem is, I still havent received it. He had me drive an hour to meet him and I waited hours. When he answered he offered a refund thru Venmo. He wanted to make sure it was me and sent me a $1 test, it worked. Fast forward 2 days of I just sent it or should be there and still nuthin. I had him give me transaction id numbers and contracted Venmo (they dont exist). The next day HE reached out with a plan to meet me at 9pm with cash. NO SHOW said he was late, waited, had an excuse he was still about 30 mins out so I tried to meet him halfway. Then he quit answering my calls.Why not just ignore me? Why reach out with a plan? Either this guy enjoys wasting peoples time or he knows a loophole in the law so he can somehow say he attempted to give refund. Either way hes done nothing but wasted days of my time as well as the sellers. Now I need to take days off to do the work. Absolutely terrible business.Initial Complaint

I hired a Tiny House moving company to move my tiny house. They had a no show and called PJ's Transport to haul the house. (he had used them before) Pj's asked me for $850 to pay for permits and I sent it to them, per my original mover. They were supposed to be there in a day, had problems, sent someone else, who quit, finally sent the owner of PJs, (*************************,) to pick it up. By then they were expired. He screwed around for days and finally bailed and said to ask for a refund. By this time, he had lied repeatedly to my original guy and blocked him (I have all of our texts regarding this mess but don't know how to get them to you. He will corroborate everything.) I wrote the first letter as advised by my bank and PJS immediately called and said they were sending a check. It never came, Then they said *****. It didn't happen, Then he said he would be nearby and drop it in person. Answered me two hours before and then blocked me after the not showing up. All of the texts between me and PJs are somehow deleted but I think he does this often. Most of our interactions were on the phone. I kept giving him a chance as he stalled and stalled. The no show was when I realized he never intended to pay me back.Customer response

Don't know if you contacted PJs or my actual filing and telling him worked, but thank you, thank you. I received a refund from him yesterday! I am willing to withdraw my complaint.
