I hired ***, the Owner of TLC Fencing to maintain (apply sealant/stain) on both sides of the fence surrounding my moms house. I paid in advance. The job was never done and *** claims the wrong house was done and he said my refund was in process and Id have it by Friday, 3 November. I have not received a refund.Business response

To Whom It May ********** name is *** the owner of TLC Fencing, I'd like to add additional information about the situation. We were made aware during all the staining jobs being done in the area,that the clients house was missed.We offered to immediately go out and do take care of it,and was told no. We made the clients mom aware that we could not do an adjoining fence with the neibor,without both parties agreement.As the stain goes through both sides.The mother told myself," I don't want anything to do with the neighbors" .Yes we missed the clients fence,we are a upstanding company,and have started the refund process for the job.I notified her it takes **** business days to process the refund. During this time the client as bashed our company,on multiple platforms. Refund is in the processing stage.Customer response

Heres the screenshots from the conversation where *** said they did the wrong house and I asked how the refund is being processed. He ignored my question so I asked again the next day (Saturday). He response was, Should have it going back back on the card by Friday. He NEVER stated **** business days, as he now claims.
However, when Friday (3 Nov) arrived and I still didnt see a refund, I messaged him again to inquire about the refund status because I said I checked and nothing was received. He ignored my message. Because of his unresponsiveness, I submitted a BBB complaint and posted social media reviews of my experience.Business response

*********************,To whom it may concern,I'm currently taking actions with attorneys against *****************First did not contact our office about the issue for months later.Upon hearing about the issue,we offered to go look to see the issue.She replied "no don't go on my renters property" her mother. We told her that we needed to verify the stain wasn't done. Since she through a bashing complaint, we started the refund process. I told her,that it's not instinct. Would see the refund from the platform, usually takes time to process. She is being served with papers,towards bashing not only the owner,but our company After doing 3 projects for her mother *******,harassment,are both against the law.
