I called AAA for a jump start, and they sent a company to assist. Unfortunately, they couldn't jump my vehicle. Instead, they troubleshot the issue and gave their personal "diagnosis," stating, "The starter is done; it can't possibly be anything else." They then said I would need a tow out of the rest stop. The driver left, saying he couldnt wait any longer.Later, I called again for a tow after securing the part and deciding where we were going. The same company responded, but the tow truck driver who arrived was incredibly rude and pompous. If I could have, I would have asked for a different driver. His demeanor wasnt the only issuehe also damaged my vehicle. Without asking if the car was in neutral or if it could even be put in neutral, he started dragging my car up the truck bed, which ended up destroying my power steering module. When I called the company to report this, they claimed thats how you tow a vehicle, which it isnt. You dont leave the car in park, beat on it, and then drag it up the ramp, leaving drag marks on the pavement. I even have some of this recorded, although not much.

We provided service to ************** twice on 8/4 and once on 8/6.  On 8/4 ******* responded to a request for a jump start. A jump start was not successful and she was told that she needed to be towed because her battery was not the issue.  She was NOT given a diagnosis, just told that is was more than the battery.  ***** then responded to tow her vehicle and used "skates" to load the vehicle.  The "beating on it" she is referring to is when placing the skates they haved to be pounded to get under the tires.  Her car is not touched in this process. The reason was because he did not want to enter the vehicle to put it in neutral was because ************** and her companion are living in their vehicle with their pets.  There was trash and animal f**** throughout the vehicle- a biohazard.  It is common practice in the towing industry to use skates to load vehicles.  As for *****'s demeanor.. I can't comment on that as I was not there but it is uncharacteristic for him to be rude or pompous.  Regardless of how her car was loaded, it is impossible that her power steering module was damaged during her tow or her jumpstart.

***** jumpstarted her vehicle on 8/6 with no incident.

She also filed a complaint with AAA and it was found to be unwarranted.

I am rejecting this response because:

      1. **Living Situation**: We are not living in our car; we were traveling. The claim that we were living in our vehicle is inaccurate and inappropriate.

      2. **Service Animal**: The car is actually used as a service animal, accommodating our needs during travel. Therefore, the allegation about trash and animal f**** is not only incorrect but also offensive. There was no biohazard in the vehicle, and I take pride in maintaining a clean environment.

      3. **Service Provided**: While I understand the use of skates in towing, the handling of the vehicle was concerning, particularly the aggressive actions that were taken. Regardless of industry norms, the demeanor and treatment of both myself and my vehicle were unprofessional.

      4. **Damage**: I am still experiencing issues with the power steering module, which began after the services were provided. While you claim the damage couldnt have occurred due to your services, this remains a serious concern for me.

I am not satisfied with the business response and would like this matter to be reviewed further.
