I hired PNW land man to build a fence and do some excavation work to fix drainage issues and do a site pad for a barn. I planned on hiring an actual ***************** to plant 20 trees and do an irrigation system. PNW said they were capable and would like to do that portion of the job. We agreed on the same price that the other landscapers were going to charge. ( $4400 ) The agreed upon total was $22,500. PNW ended up adding an additional $4100 on after the work was done. I ended up paying him $26,500. I was not happy. He did not give me any kind of invoice or breakdown and it was after the landscaping was done. He also used heavy equipment near all of my utility lines. Consequently he broke my septic electrical conduit and I later found out that while I was at work he also broke my main water line and to this day still never admitted it. I found out from my neighbor who had to help him repair it. After the first rain his excavation work showed major issues. I had a lake next to my house and the barn pad was already eroding from not being built up or compacted correctly. He hired another excavator with more experience to finish what he could not fix. I got stuck paying an additional $4000 to the new excavator and PNW refused to deduct it from the already inflated total. The irrigation worked for a few months until shut off for winter. Several of my trees started severely leaning. By the spring I realized these trees were in trouble. I had a landscape company come out to do some other work. At this time they assessed the trees planted by PNW and turned sprinklers back on. Half of them are leaking from improper installation. I had to hire the new landscapers to try to rescue the trees. Several may die from being planted too deep & has nearly severed the roots. . I asked PNW to refund the $4100 I was overcharged to have irrigation redone. He refused and now will not respond. I am out over $15k for irrigation & still hand watering with 300 ft of HEAVY hose.
