My family and I visited ************** Farms on 9/10/22. We were there for a couple hours and probably spent a couple hundred dollars during that time. My issue with this business is that when it became time to leave, my wife wanted to visit the gift shop really quick and get something for her mother as it was her birthday. Initially they rang her purchase up incorrectly and overcharged her. She brought this fact up to the employee who then charged her debit card again, this time with the correct amount. The employee said she refunded the initial charge back to our account and that we should see it back in our account within a couple of days. We waited and of course never received the payment back into our account. We contacted them and were ignored. After several emails someone finally responded to us and asked for receipts to which we obliged. We were refunded eventually but they refunded us the wrong amount. Weve been trying to be made right about this situation for weeks now and they refuse to respond to repeated requests from us. The amount of money we are owed is small but it is our money and it is the principle of the matter. Anything that you can do to help us with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for forwarding the complaint from *******************. We are refunding the additional amount with our apologies for the delay. We do our best, but running our business has been especially dynamic this past year and sometimes things slip through the cracks.
We initially refunded $54.55, assuming this was the order in question. We understand that was an error, and we have now also refunded the $60.01 transaction via the credit card company (as of 10/26). The customer should see a receipt on that refund on their statement soon. They were initially overcharged $5.46 cents for the item and they have now been refunded for all of their transactions in full. We hope they are able to enjoy the complementary merchandise!
