On or about June 10, 2023, I asked ************************* from Mt. Mules Construction and Landscaping, to give me a quote to do some landscaping in my yard. On June 12, 2023, he emailed me an estimate for installing pavers, $718.00. He came back to my home to take another look, and said if I paid a deposit of $400. he could buy the pavers, and start working the next day. He had another job he was doing, but the weather was not going to permit him working there, so he could start my paver job. On June 12, I wrote a cheque to him for $400.00. I never saw him again. He has not been back. On june 23, 2023, I received a text from him saying the job he was working on was taking longer, and he would be here later that week. On July 10, 2023, I decided to have another company do the work for me, since I was not able to depend on ******************** returning. I sent him a text to tell him I would like him to send me my $400.00 back, and I was having the work done by another company. He assured me he would do that. On August 2, 2023, he sent me a cheque for $300.00. When I asked for the remaining $100, he informed me he was charging for his estimate, which he said was lot of work. I had 3 other estimates, no one charged for those, and if I had known he was charging for his estimate, I would not have asked him for one. I think this is dishonest, and would ask your help to get my full refund. Thank you.
