Excellent service from Honda Lynnwood service department. They were very skilled at detecting a leak issue on my crv AWD 2018, did the repair fully and efficiently and handled all paperwork with carmax extended warranty company. I now have a fully repaired and safe car, with repairs covered by my extended warranty. Highly recommend.Review from W. S.

We purchased a brand new Honda CVR Hybrid from Lynnwood Honda in the late summer of 2022. In mid October we moved from the Puget Sound region to *********. Shortly after our move the windshield wiper fluid froze in the reservoir. We were charged $100 to have it thawed because this was not a warranty item. The dealership that serviced it in ** said that it is common practice for dealerships in warmer areas to dilute the windshield wiper fluid to save a bit of money. I contacted both the Service Manager and the General Manager about this. After several calls and emails and a delay of 6+ weeks, the final comment was that this diluted wiper fluid was their standard practice because of the climate...despite the fact that this dealership is only 1 hour away from the mountain passes just east of *******.

In December 2022 *************************** contacted Lynnwood Honda about an issue she was having with her windshield wiper reservoir freezing. Since purchasing the vehicle from Lynnwood Honda in the Pacific Northwest ***************************** moved to ********** *********, Dakota County. The average temperature in that area is 25 degrees lower during the months of December and January. The Honda service department in that area recommends that the fluid withstand lower temperatures than the recommendations in the Northwest requirements. I have the impression That ***************************** felt that we were over diluting the fluid to save money. That is not the case, we stick to the appropriate guidelines set by the manufacturer. Extremely cold environments require extra protections and precautions for everything.Lynnwood Honda Response

In response to the dealers comment, Lynnwood Honda is about 60 miles from the ************** mountains where many people in the ******* region vacation in the winter. This area routinely has cold winter temperatures not unlike ********* in November. At NO time did this dealership ever suggest that my wiper fluid needed to be upgraded in a colder environment. Nowhere in the service manual is this stated.
