I went into the shop on May 9th to have a hub assembly replaced and the repair wasn't done correctly. Around September 30th the car started making a noise like it had a flat tire and I limped it to a close repair shop and they showed me that the wheel was about to fall off. The hub assembly wasn't repaired correctly, the wheel was not put back on correctly and resulted in the wheel almost coming off while driving. The repair shop had to replace the hub assembly in order for me to safely drive the vehicle and due to the bad ************ my tires were shredded. I had to then go and buy 4 new tires because of the first shops mistakes. I'm seeking a refund from the repair shop that did my hub assembly incorrectly, a payment for the repair I had to make and then for all 4 tires I had to purchase because of their mistake.Business response

I've spoke with this customer about what took place. She states that she had an incident with some of our work, unfortunately, she took it to another shop (a business that is not related to ours) for repairs shop before calling us. We never had a chance to inspect what went wrong, so we don't know if our parts and labor were faulty, or if it was another component that caused those parts to fail at the same time. We cannot pay another repair shop retail $ for their repairs. And we do not refund any of our repairs. However we absolutely stand behind all of our work with a 12 month ****** mile parts and labor warranty on ************* installed if brought to our shop (Automotive Unlimited located in *******, **). I felt bad for her situation and offered her some free work in the future if she needs or wants and also a few free oil changes as well to help offset her inconvenience. I really hope next time she would bring it to the original shop and allow them to inspect/Repair/warranty if needed.
