I have been with national general insurance through the guidance and information from Vern Fonk in ************ ********** that they were the best fit for me I specifically told Vern Fonk I have to have SR22 insurance to get my license,then in March of 2023 I had to get full coverage insurance to finance a vehicle and with SR22 it was cheaper to add another vehicle so i added my 99'suburban ,,I got pulled over in Jan of 2024 and found out my licenses was suspended well after more digging I found out I personally have not been covered since March,I explained to Vern Fonk and they said it was my fault I didn't give that info,,I have paid 253 a month for coverage that was not there and turns out the agent that handled my case does not work there anymore either way vern Fonk does nit want to helo resolve this eventhough i was told bye a representative Vern Fonk was coming up with a resolution I heard nothing,so I called them and Vern Fonk is no use saying im the ones who didn't tell then i needed sr22 so with thst being said i want all my recorded phone calls to prove otherwise I also want my money refunded and a settlement for putting me ,my family and other drivers in jeopardy because i was a suspended driver because of vern fonk mistake,so if im high risk needing sr22 insurance and didn't have coversge how is the policy I been paying for valid,I really need to file this complaint so they know the mistake is absolutely theirs and so it doesn't to happen to anyone else.Initial Complaint

This company ignored my request to cancel my policy for nearly two weeks. I called to inquire on how exactly I should go about canceling and I was given instructions. I followed those instructions and followed up nearly EVERY day for the next week or so. Then it turns out today that oh, thats not how I should have gone about canceling. So my cancellation and refund should have been processing for nearly two weeks but is only just now processing because of someone elses incompetence. Low prices on insurance is not worth this level of service.
