On April 12, 2022, I had an appointment with Federal Way Vision Center for an eye exam and possibly purchasing frames/lenses. With a minor change in my prescription, I chose to purchase prescribed sunglasses, (purple frames/purple lenses). 4/28/22 I received a text stating my glasses were ready to pick up. I wore the glasses for a week noticing gaps between the lenses and frame. I returned the prescribed sunglasses to Vision Center for correction. Approx the week of 5/16/22 I called to inquire the status of my glasses. The glasses were not ready and I was informed I would receive notification once they were. On 6/3/22, I received the second text stating my prescribed glasses were ready for pick up. Went to pick up my glasses and the technician assured me all corrections were made. He stepped away and as I examined the glasses I noticed once again the lenses were not fitted properly and it was a different frame (blue frames/blue lenses). The technician allowed me to temporarily use the blue frames until mine were corrected and returned, and once again sent the purple frames back to the lab. Later that week I noticed I was unable to read fine print. I took the sunglasses to an different optical shop to verify if the lenses had a prescription. I was informed they were non-prescription lenses. Its bad enough Ive dealt with this for 3+ months, but what upsets me is the switching of frames and non-prescribed lenses (which I paid in full on April 12, 2022). Ive reported this to my insurance company (MetLIfe 7/8/22) and they are working with me. However with this ongoing issue, I would not only like my glasses (in perfect condition), but to be compensated partially or in full for this ongoing matter. As of todays date I still do not have my sunglasses.*First three photos are of the blue frames/lenses with SILVER outlining on frame.The last photo is the purple frames/lenses with GOLD outlining on frame
