I asked for a matching aluminum gate to be installed with my existing fence. They installed a completely different fence. I had a flat black smooth fence and they installed a shiny black with lines. I had echelon, they installed montage. They told me I had montage. Come to find out I have echelon. They installed more fencing than needed and the gate did not line up. When contacted about this *********************** came and looked and suggested it was my fault. I said I wanted it fixed to my satisfaction so they sent me another proposal, which I would not sign because They refused to credit me for unnecessary materials and the labor cost to install them except for $1302 from a cost of a $13k job. The job they did took 2 1/2 days. The job I wanted would take leas than a day.All they needed to do was install 2 posts and an 18 ft gate where the existing gate was. They installed 6 posts and 15 feet of fence and a gate, yet they charged me for 33ft of fence. ??The laborers last day at my house was March 23. I tried to negotiate with them and asked for an itemized statement and **** refused. Then they filed a lien on my house for a unsatisfactory and incomplete job using unmatching materials. I have filed a dispute for the $7k payment on my card and am waiting for that decision. When that is completed I intend to file a lawsuit for fraudulently filing a lien and will be seeking punitive damages. I emailed them giving them 10 days to remove what they installed. Then I sent them a certified letter as well, which they signed for, and have chosen not to respond to. So here I sit with an eyesore in my driveway that is completely unusable! I am ******, to say the least! DO NOT use this company for any reason.

NW fence agreed to refund me $1302 which was unacceptable to me because that is far below what the actual cost and labor was.  I did not insist in having the gate in my driveway at all.  I asked them to provide me a detailed invoice from the gate company and that was never done.  Probably because they knew the $1302 they offered was substantially lower that the actual cost of labor and materials.  The workers were here for 2 1/2 days and there was 2 workers the first day and three the second snd not sure about the third day.  Labor alone was well more than $1302.  I did approve the set of the gate posts but I never approved the job as being satisfactory.  I outlined all the problems in my initial submission.  NW Fence, being the professionals, should have known the place they installed the gate would not work, yet they said nothing.  April 13 **** and ***** came to look at the job and **** had the gall to ask me if I thought everything they did wrong was my fault, which was more than a few things.  The whole thing was wrong and they knew it when they saw it.  Had they offered to refund substantially more than $1302 I would have considered it but I was unconfident in their ability to complete the job to my satisfaction.  One panel of the gate was 13 inches off the ground and the other 4 inches.  They were perfectly aware that two pitbulls live next door and continue to use my property as a bathroom and the gate as they installed would not prevent them from getting on my property and using it as a bathroom, or even worse, harm one of my grandchildren.  I have had a few contractors to my place to give me an estimate for removal of their materials and installation of a gate exactly where my previous gate was.  NW Fences second proposal was placement where my previous gate was and would have cost substantially less and the obvious placement for my satisfaction. I will send the new proposals when I receive them.
