Hello,
My name is ***********************. I live at ***************************************************************. My cell number is **************. I am filing a complaint against the business Les Schwab Tire Center. Their address is *************************************************************. Their phone number is **************. The employee that Im filing this complaint against her name is ******. I unfortunately dont have her last name.
The reason I am filing this complaint is to start at the beginning I went to this business a few months ago to get new tires on my car.I also had to get an alignment done in order to get my new tires. I could not afford to pay the entire bill that day so they set me up on a payment plan. I was making payments and their were a couple times I had to call them to let them know I would pay late because I got my check a few days after the day they wanted payment. In January the employee Summer was constantly calling my phone to ask for payment. I work night shift at a hospital so when she would call I would be sleeping and when I finally would wake up they would be closed or no one would answer the phone when I called at normal business hours. When it came to the month of January the amount of calls I got from her were insane it seemed like every month she would call more and more within a day. Even after I would talk to her or another employee letting them know when I could pay and being told it was ok she still continued to call. The main reason for this complaint started technically January 31st but this is what happened before that day. The week before January 31st I called them back on January 26th to let them know I would be able to pay them on Friday which was February 3rd.This was again due to me receiving my paycheck on that day. I talked to Summer on this phone call on this day the 26th and she told me that would be fine and thanked me for letting her know. Well next week on the 30th she called again and left me a voicemail asking for payment. Then on January 31st I received a phone call from my fianc that a Les Schwab employee was sent to our apartment to collect money from me for the payment. I rushed home and caught the Les Schwab employee in the parking lot of our apartment complex about to leave and asked him what he was doing. He told me that he didnt really understand why he was sent to my apartment in the first place just that he was told to tell me to call and make a payment or to give him money so he then could give that money to Summer to pay my bill. My fianc had already given him money before I got there not knowing this I told the Les Schwab employee that I would call and he left. When I got inside my apartment I found out my fianc gave him $50. I called Les Schwab asked to speak to Summer and the way she talked to me on the phone was completely wrong and rude. She would not let me get any word out. The moment I would speak she would just yell and talk over me. I ended up yelling unfortunately to try and be able to get what I needed to say to her and told her we had discussed when I was going to make a payment and you said it was fine. She said she had no memory of this call and that she has called me several times with no answer and since that was going on she had no choice but to send someone to collect money. What she did is illegal. She can not take my information out of their system and send an employee from their business to collect money from me. She said that yes she can she can do that any time she wants and that she can also repo my car and take their merchandise back and keep my car. She told me that my next payment was on the 15th of February and if I did not pay that she would indeed herself come to my apartment with the repo guy and see to it my car was repossessed along with their merchandise. I told her she can not do that again that is illegal and she said yes she can and she threatened to call the cops on me if I tried to stop her. I asked to speak with her manager and she said her manager already knows and agrees with her. She then said is $50 all your paying for this payment and I said yes. She processed the payment my fianc gave the employee and told me have a nice day and hung up on me.
Everything this employee did was unprofessional and illegal.I have never been talked to so rudely in my life. The way this business allowed her to take my personal information and gave it to an employee to come collect money from me is all wrong and again illegal. I was told by the ******************************** that I needed to file a complaint with you for anything to be done because their is nothing they can do. I would like this employee to have repercussions for what she did. This is unacceptable.
Please let me know if there is anything more you wish to know. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
