$40K DOWN THE DRAIN! We had to re-home our dog due to behavioral issues. This company doesnt even respond to emails and does not care! Theyll just give you a dog and walk away with your money!! They have no idea how to train dogs for Nonverbal children and are claiming they can. I am not the only one screwed by this company.

We have a significant amount of information and proof to refute this claim. At this time, the matter has been referred to our attorney and is now a legal action. We request the complaint be removed until the matter as a whole has been resolved.

On February 29, 2024 you sent an email to Unleashed Academy stating and alleging the following:

I wanted to let you know we had to re-home ******** due to behavioral issues. We can no longer take him in public and he has shown aggression towards our child. He is beyond skittish and barks nonstop.

You completely mislead us into thinking you could train a dog for a nonverbal child and you cannot! Apparently I am not the only one with this issue from your company and I have also filed a complaint with the BBB. We will also be having our attorney look over the contract and be involved. This is fraud.

In addition to this, you wrote a 1-star negative review on ******* submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and wrote more than ********************************************************************************* part, ************ doesnt even respond to emails and does not care! and Theyll just give you a dog and walk away with your money!!

Unleashed Academy vehemently disagrees with all of these statements. You are disseminating false information and harassing us with slanderous statements to the public. We did train your service dog, and we did provide support before, during and after you received your dog. There are ample supporting documents and information to prove our position.

Your contract for ******** was completed on July 20, 2022. The agreement includes in part:

Buyer represents and agrees as follows:
Buyer has thoroughly researched the breed and understands the potential breed related health issues.
***** understands that Seller does not and cannot guaranty the behavior of the Dog once it is in the buyers home. This includes, but is not limited to, what the Dog may or may not do in any given situation.
Buyer is responsible for all medical costs of the Dog.
Seller will not issue a refund or provide another Dog to Buyer unless the Dogs return was a result of any deliberate material misrepresentation (excluding weight estimates) on the part of Seller with respect to the Dogs health and Seller has not cured such breach as provided herein.
The Dog will require continued behavior maintenance using Sellers training method. This method of training will be sent to Buyer through a series of training videos and hands on during the (5-7 day) exit visit.
It is estimated that the Dog will take ***** days to acclimate to its new environment and obey commands and service skills.
***** understands the age-appropriate maturity level of the dog and agrees to continue training the dog using the provided ******* preferred training method for up to, but not limited to, the first 24 months of possession.

It clearly states that it will take ***** days for your dog to acclimate to its new environment and obey commands and service skills. This has been a topic of discussion on many occasions.

From the very beginning of when you entered into your contract with Unleashed Academy and began communicating regarding the training of your service dog, the communication was, and continues to be, done via group texting., and communication regarding him and his training began through typical cell phone group texting.

On September 24, 2022, the group texting moved to the Coast app. Prior to the exit where you would meet your dog and take possession of him, there are more than 125 text messages, pictures and videos exchanged during that time where you saw the training of your dog. During the time you were in the Spokane Valley area for training, more than 30 messages were exchanged. Including posts you made regarding your time in ******* where you stated, Mastered the hotel. and Rode an elevator up to the *************** and did so so well!. You also stated, ******** did really well yesterday! We put him to work sightseeing around ******* and then we had our red eye flight. He was pretty nervous the first couple of hours but we just ignored it and stayed calm and he eventually laid down for the last few hours. We are all settled at home in ** finally! There were more than *******-exit messages exchanged.

On May 19, 2023 Unleashed Academy posted, Sorry you are experiencing this. We would like to set up a conference call. Please let us know your availability over the next couple of days. You did not respond even though we know you saw the message. On May 25, 2023 Unleashed Academy posted, Would still like to set up a conference call. Please let us know your availability. No response. You sent an email in September 2023, and we responded in Coast on September 22 with requests for logs of exercise, videos, etc., and reiterated rules, exercise requirements, and acclimation goals. Again, no response from you on the communication platform specifically set up for the training and support of ********.

During your exit training time at Unleashed Academy April *****, 2023, more than 70 pictures and videos were taken during the training sessions documenting Fletchers behavior while being handled by you and your spouse. When you met ******** and took possession of him, you signed an Exit Form at the end of Day 1 that was Buyers Acceptance at Transfer Date. At the end of Day 5, you signed *****'s Acceptance at End of Training which includes:
Buyer acknowledges that Seller, or Sellers representative has demonstrated the Dogs State of Behavior as stated within the Agreement. This has been demonstrated via in-person training.
***** acknowledges that ***** has received training videos as well as in-person instruction demonstrating and explaining the training method of Seller and that Seller requires Buyer to only use these training methods for the duration of ownership.
Buyer acknowledges that the acclimation period for dog to fully obey commands and perform service tasks is ***** days.
***** acknowledges that leadership as demonstrated must be provided to the dog and all obedience skills and service tasks practiced daily and performed in accordance with the Sellers method for the lifetime of the dog. Maintenance training is the responsibility of the Buyer.
Buyer acknowledges that the dog must have a minimum of 1 hour of hard exercise such as walks, doggy daycare, dog parks, etc. (not yard play) every day until 2 years of age.
Buyer acknowledges that the dog has not, nor should have, clicker training or treat training as part of the Sellers method and is not to be used.

You were under no obligation to sign the Exit Form if you had concerns or issues regarding ********, but you did.

In short, we did train ********. We provided a graduation video showing his behavior. We have video proof of training during your time at Unleashed Academy. The photos included with this response is within the FIRST 30 minutes of ******** ever meeting you and your child. If there were fears, it would have shown immediately. We have others that you, yourself, provided demonstrating calm and willing behavior. We did communicate with you and provide you with support when you had challenges at home. We gave direct and specific instructions about how transition and acclimation was to take place, and how long it may take. At no time, did Unleashed Academy stop responding to you and doing what we could do help.
