I had a vehicle repaired at Evergreen Auto Body, they sent the total amount plus $300.00 in error. They refused to refund the difference and we had a new check issued. While waiting on the check they then told us they were charging us $75.00 a day in storage fees. They are the ones who refused to accept that payment and now they are trying to milk more money out of us for their refusal to accept the payment an issue a refund for the $300 over payment Then after they told us they wouldn't do refunds they then refused to provide an accurate total and said it would be reconciled on pickup!Business response

I left my car in the care of Evergreen Auto Shop, Sept 20 - Oct 3, to have the left exterior of my car repaired. They charged $3,349.79 and of this amount I paid $500.00 out of pocket and the insurance paid $2,838.27. When I went to pick up my car on Oct 3, ****, the customer service rep mentioned to me that they had to jump my car 3 times. I was surprised by this because I never received a phone call/email/test asking for permission to jump the battery. Then, when I opened the car door, I inhaled an overwhelming amount of sediment and noticed the inside of my car was covered with white sediment (paint/plastic/metal). I proceeded to open my SUV trunk and noticed even more sediment. I brought this to *****, the office manager, attention and she agreed to detail my car for Oct 4 pick-up. Again, ****, brought my car around. The car was cleaner but since the interior of my car is black, you can still see a subtle layer of white sediment, especially on my belongings in my trunk. I got in my car to pull out of the parking spot, to notice the dashboard screen was off. Usually when I put my car in 'rear' gear, the screen shows what the back camera sees. I repark my car and try to turn on the dashboard and nothing came on. I asked **** and ***** to come out. ***** mentioned that they jumped my car again and drove it around. I left my car again for the technician to fix it. ***** called me later that day (Oct 4) to explain the ** (car computer) is not working. She proceeded to say that this was a known issue when I ****** my car in on Sept 20 and I said to her, if she noticed if before, she should've notified me, but this isn't a known issue because I didn't notice it when I dropped my car-off. Also, ****** do not have any record of battery issue or ** issue when they serviced my car few months ago.I communicated with *****/**** in- person, phone, and email, and instead of taking culpability, they are blaming the battery and **, which they damaged.
