On June 20, 2023, I made a reservation via OYOrooms.com for the ********************************************* (Motel 6 ********, *****************************************************************). The reservation was for check-in on July 20, 2023 - check-out on August 17, 2023. The website froze after entering my credit card information and completing the reservation. I was then notified via text message that I had made four reservations, each costing $2,345.80, despite only making one reservation. I called the hotel directly, and they helped me cancel the three duplicate reservations for a refund. I was then notified by text message that I was only refunded $56 per duplicate reservation rather than the total of $2345.80. You can see on the attached receipts that my card was charged at 5:19 PM on July 20, 2023, on all four booking ************ (Active Reservation): $2,345.80 TBUK2340 (Cancelled Duplicate Reservation): $2,345.80 PZ649130 (Cancelled Duplicate Reservation): $2,345.80 LAYK0781 (Cancelled Duplicate Reservation): $2,345.80 After numerous calls to their call center that included hangups and rude representatives that blamed me, I finally connected with an individual the next day, on July 21, 2023, that notified me that I should see the refund in 7 to 14 days. However, now all the charges have cleared on my credit card. I have a hard time believing I will ever see the full refund for TBUK2340, PZ649130, and LAYK0781. The hotel in ********, **, has been the only helpful party in this situation. All my interactions with OYO have been very concerning and less than helpful.
