My Technology Geeks sent me the wrong model all-in-one, it wasn't even close. The suspicion remains that there was no actual model in their inventory that met the advertised setup, a "too good to be true", system. They lure people in with false advertising and then ******* them with bureaucratic nonsense, digital anonymity, electronic communication, and distance. I have filed with the *** as this both demonstrates continuing business practice reinforced by numerous customer complaints and occurs across state lines. The error of sending the wrong item was nonsensical to me because in all my years of ordering computers laptops or desktops, no company has ever made such a blunder, but immediately this made my alarms go off and I looked further into the company. This is when I came across numerous complaints filed against them for doing precisely the same thing. They would from their side make an error with the order. The customer, myself, and others would request a refund. If the refund was even sent they would assess and tack on a 20% "restocking fee" which for me was in the amount of $94.40. I paid $1006.30 but I did not get my full refund. Essentially this is a scam.I will acquit and avail myself of all resources available to me to receive my full refund and ****** the missing $94.40 that they pocketed be that criminally, civilally, or commercially by ensuring that no one else gets hoodwinked by this company. If I must notify all outlets of this company's predatory practices I will because they already inconvenienced me and stole my money. Is this company a scheme or a front for laundering currency or trafficking other goods I do not know, but I hope that a proper inquiry will determine what is what?

In April 2023, my son ordered a computer from My Technology Geeks through Amazon. The end of October, the power supply stopped working, so we contacted MTG and they arranged a return/replacement. We boxed up the computer and returned it to them in early November. When we finally received the "replacement" on Dec 8, it was nothing but an empty case (not even the same case as with the original computer). I contacted the company several times over the next two weeks, trying to find a resolution and was finally told by a "supervisor" that I was 'just causing a problem' and they were no longer going to deal with me. My son paid MTG around $1200 and got nothing for his money but an empty computer case.

I ordered two identical monitor sets, each with a keyboard and mouse and speakers for my sons for Christmas. I received one box with one set only. When I inquired about the other set, MTG told me to file a claim with ****** Upon doing so ***** denied my claim as they received only one box and said box was delivered. I emailed MTG stating that I would like a refund. I was told to call their customer service line which I did several times. I could never reach anyone and no one returned my calls. I emailed again and again. And was only told to call the line. I even asked to have them confirm that both items had been shipped out, to which I got no response. I have yet to receive a refund and I also had to purchase a replacement monitor and keyboard set so I would have it in time for Christmas.

On April 18, 2021 I purchased a refurbished ****** desktop from this merchant. On September 1, 2022 I attempted to reboot the computer during a routine software update. However, upon re-starting up, the computer failed to send a video signal to the monitor. After attempting to start up with different monitors and cables, the problem persisted so I took the computer to a local repair shop. On September 6, 2022 the repair shop called to inform me the issue was not a video card, but rather the motherboard. This is a component that should last several years barring any external damage (which there was none). The only reason this would have spontaneously failed like this is that the merchant used inferior parts to rebuild this computer. I attempted to contact the merchant but they are refusing to honor the quality of their workmanship.

On 4/22/2022, I purchased a **** monitor from My Technology Geeks ("MTG") via Amazon which was delivered on 4/25/2022. The monitor was advertised as "New". The total purchase was ******. Upon unboxing the monitor, it was clear the monitor from MTGwas not packaged the way a new **** monitor is normally packaged. In my previous job role I worked for about 10 years, I had unboxed hundreds/thousands of new **** monitors. Around the same time as this purchase, I also purchased an identical **** monitor directly from ****.com. This allowed me to not only compare the packaging of the shipment box, but also the monitor itself. When I powered on the monitors, I could see the monitor from **** was at a state that is expected from a never used monitor. I could contrast this with the monitor received from MTG which was not in the same state. After returning the monitor from MTG, I purchased a second monitor as replacement directly from **** which further confirmed the differences. It is my conclusion that the monitor sent by MTG was not "New", but instead "Refurbished" and/or "Open Box". Due to the fact that MTG did not send me a new monitor as requested, I requested a refund and sent the monitor back. After the monitor was received by MTG, they sent a refund amount of ******, which is ****** less than the total I paid. They called it a restocking fee. I indicated I do not need to pay a restocking fee for a fraudulently advertised product. I spoke to MTG employees via Amazon messaging and phone requesting the full balance of the refund. I had created a seller review on Amazon that was not favorable to my experience. The MTG employees requested that I remove the review in order to receive the balance of the refund. I explained that their product did not match their description, thus the review should not matter for the refund. Furthermore, I would not be extorted to remove the review just to receive a refund on their misrepresentation. Requesting the full balance of the refund.
