The business billed us for 3 ton unit and installed just a 2 ton one. Then disappeared, not picking up the phone or answer texts.Business response

I have no clue whos this person is. Never worked with them. Please have them provide avoidance of the invoice or atleast an estimate for the job he claims we did. This is falls accusation. Could be a friend or a payed 3rd party from a different hvac company who is our competition. Thank youCustomer response

Attached is a text from company owner with invoice. I do have also outdoor camera footage where company owner (****************) and his colleague working on my property, loading/unloading van, etc.

Hello,
Not sure why it was closed as not enough proofs - as I stated, I do have a proofs. We didn't sign contract though, but I have payments, invoices, etc. I also have a proofs that this people physically were working on the project - I have Ring camera on my property. Can you please elaborate what exact information is required?
Please see the attached documents - company changed the name since I wrote that check, but it's a same company, same owner. They just got 1 star at BBB and changed the company. Please, don't give them ability to get away and keep scamming customers. This is not a cheap business, we paid them $16000 ($6000 cache, 10k check attached) and we still can't use the product.

I looked at hes proof evidence. Copy of invoices are not showing any evidence of company name. I can also make fake checks and put back dates on them. I dont see how can this be accepted as evidence. No dates, and no number of the invoice is shown. I cant find their name in the system.Initial Complaint

In 2021 our heat pump broke right before a record breaking heat wave. We were desperate to find a company that could diagnose the problem and fix it. Due to the record breaking heat wave, it was very hard to find one. Finally I found ***** with Black Lion. He determined that it would not be worth the cost to repair our old unit, and suggested we buy a new one. When he was not able to find a unit available in an acceptable time frame through his own company, he contacted a friend, ****, at a company called NW Climate Control. **** was able to find an available unit and promised a one-year labor warranty along with the ten-year equipment warranty. ***** and **** installed the unit along with a new eccobee thermostat together on July 2, 2021. On June 3, 2022 we received a warning email from our thermostat that the system was calling for cooling, but that the temperature had gone up. This happened again several days later. We contacted both **** and *****, both of whom told us it was the other persons responsibility. ***** did eventually come out to our house and he determined that the motor for the fan was not working. He said hed talk to **** about repairing it or replacing it. We tried to reach both of them several more times over the following weeks with no success. Our system is still not cooling our house.Business response

One of Black Lions employees installed the unit along with someone from NW Climate Control. Both the Black Lion employee and his friend stopped responding to our calls and did not fix the problem.
