Complaint regarding bid cancellation and unfair treatment by Bidadoo. Im reaching out to express my dissatisfaction and frustration regarding a recent transaction with Bidadoo. I made payments for item#************* that I won. Total payments made were $75,495.20. I had called and confirmed with customer service and finance department of funds and they were all accounted for. Bidadoo decided to cancel my winning bid and awarded the item to another bidder after confirming receiving my money. This action not only violates a trust and integrity of the bidding process, but also constitutes illegal and unethical business practices. It is unacceptable to take away an item that I had won and assign it to someone else, which they had the entire payment for. The entire team decided to put me off and refuse my calls the entire day. I spent eight hours on the phone and not a single person was able to help me. They kept pointing to *************************, who is traveling and working. They also accidentally spilled that they have assigned it to another bidder. I asked them why? this is unethical. They responded with we are just trying to get all the ducks to row together. Whatever that means. I have not engaged in any wrongdoing or violation of **** policies to earn such treatment. I felt discriminated while speaking to every single employee at Bidadoo. I was dealt with condescending attitude, short answers, and a whole lot of disrespect. I had acquired Hard money and bank loans to secure this item and received payments from all my lenders to forward to Bidadoo. Without any phone call, any email and any text they cancelled my item. I was planning to use this equipment to further grow my one-man business in the truck industry and they decided to hurt me so bad that I wouldnt be able to recover from this. I felt the entire team working against me instead of with me. I do not want the money. Bought forklift by **** auction, Transmission, steering do NOT work!!! hydraulic lines are about to explode! Dangerous, hazard to say the least.Hour meter says over 7000 hours, auction says 6700. Thats false advertising and fraud! Their ad says trans and steering work properly, hydro lines show little signs of wear!.. They will not respond, give any refund or even try to help fix this problem. I blocked them and wil NEVER use BIDADOO again!!!!! Will not give address where it was located unless I paid in full first!! $2700 in shipping to get dishonest company not working forklift, this is just the start of my actions against this 100% dishonest company!!!!Business response

Again that is a lie. I gave all info asked by bidadoo. I'm not loosing $2700 plus shipping to ******* when you would NOT let me inspect until paid for NOR give a location where it was. The forklift has over 7000 hours on it not what ad says! Steering and transmission NOT in working order as claimed to be good in ad. Hydro hoses are completely unsafe to use, they are most likely from 1999! Complete misrepresented on your ad. **** said I would have protection if it was not as described, they are now claiming they can't give protection as they promised before I paid for this forklift. I am writing to file an extremely serious complaint against Bidadoo regarding a truck purchase I made through their **** platform. The reprehensible actions of Bidadoo have left me utterly appalled and financially devastated.Upon purchasing the truck, it became glaringly evident that Bidadoo had egregiously misrepresented its condition. Despite their acknowledgment of the inaccurate listing during my attempted pickup, they brazenly failed to honor their commitment to rectify the situation and process a refund as promised. Now, after nearly a month of futile attempts to obtain redress, Bidadoo has callously subjected me to a relentless cycle of evasion and obfuscation. Their reprehensible conduct is not only infuriating but unequivocally fraudulent. I am now unjustly out of pocket by $11,700, with Bidadoo exhibiting a flagrant disregard for accountability and customer satisfaction.Compounding their deceitful behavior, Bidadoo has shamelessly reposted the same truck and sold it to another unsuspecting buyer, effectively profiting twice from their deceitful practices.Despite exhausting all conceivable avenues for resolution, Bidadoo's deafening silence and evasiveness have left me with no recourse but to escalate this matter to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Listing said air conditioning not operational. It did not say someone removed alot of parts.air conditioning system including engine mounts,freon lines,bracket that holds air cleaner,heater parts and antifreeze leak. Improper amount of antifreeze.

I bought a welder at Auction from bidadoo Item #************ on November 7. On November 17 I sent my kid to go pick it up from ****** to ******** 13 hour drive one way when he showed up the next day to pick it up they told him and showed him the paper work where that ****** was sold in June to someone in ******* . Bidadoo made the mistake and resold the Item twice my kid drives 13 hours back home empty I called bidadoo to see if they would help pay for some of the fuel sence they made the mistake and resold it they said no.Business response

The date was like October 20 2023 I got the highest bid on the power washer Online auction ******* So when I purchased it I had to wait so I could take it to a place that could examine It because they said it had been sitting for a year so you didn't want to start it up they said that the pump needs to be real built and that the fuelIs siola needs to be replaced The bill is about $650.00 Bid adu they said that the power washer work and that it was fine the lucky thing for me is I bought it through **** so they'll protect you I will buy nothing directly from this company or indirectly from now on But I contacted them To Get them to pay the repair they said no you only have a couple of days to look at the item to determine if it's Good or not They said but it wasn't Nothing that we could do it had to be inspected by professionals The crazy thing is Because the pump is bad they can't run water Through it to see if the heater works Until they repaired The pumpBusiness response

We genuinely empathize with the challenges you've faced with your 2014 Mi-T-M HSP-****-3MGH LMP3H Pressure Washer, purchased back in October 2023.
Understandably, we recognize that timely communication is crucial for addressing such concerns. Typically, if brought to our attention earlier, we would have explored options, including a possible return.
Given the passage of time since the purchase (now December 2023) and in adherence to the terms outlined in the original auction, ************************************************, which specify the "as is" and "where is" nature of the sale, returns unfortunately cannot be accommodated.
Regrettably, we are unable to assist with the claim, as per the auction terms. We sincerely wish we could provide a different resolution. It's important to note that **** has also communicated the rejection of your claim.

We're not shocked or surprised about their response they're a terrible company they have so many complaints of doing the same thing selling stuff to people see this is considered false advertising ******* negates any policies that you might have anything that you think could protect you you're falsely advertising you advertise this thing as working this machine as working and then you say we're not responsible for it that's 2 different things you said this thing works if you just say we don't know if it works or you know we don't care if it works or anything like that we're going to refer your case to the federal trade commission we're going to call d*** they're going to investigate you and you'll show a pattern of criminal activity we also contact the Attorney General for **************** I suggest you just paid a 650 to repair this thing a call of the day but you want it we didn't expect anything from you you're ABusiness response

We have the We have the item in repair right now the bill is about $2000 for the repair $500 for the holes and the wand so if you want it back you're gonna have to pay the repair what we suggest you do is it's return our money for this thing that helped at least with us getting it repaired we had a point now when we can't turn back so we suggested you return the money that we have invested in it that would make it a little bit easier for us remember this is the item you had listed as working you didn't say anything about anything bad with this thing And we can produce all the receipts if you need them for all the repairs and the parts that we've purchased

The date of transaction was September 14th 2023, this was a transaction on ***** we paid through credit card on September 16th for the amount of $******. Received no pickup information for a few days and then we email Bida doo on Sept,26th 2023 through **** messaging service for the contact and pickup information, another week goes by and still no response, so we again emailed them through **** messaging on Oct 5th 2023, another week goes by and we emailed them for a third time through **** messaging on Oct16th for a third request for pickup and contact information, at the time of the third email we decided to call Bida doo for the information, they stated they had emailed us with the information, the problem was is that they emailed us to an account that is not used anymore. We asked them why they sent the emails to that account and not through **** messages like one is supposed to do and gave us no response. They obviously received our three requests but did not answer through **** messaging, so at the time of finally having communication with **** doo we received the contact information. Called the company on Oct. 17th as to where the item was at and they stated they needed a release before they can schedule an appointment for pickup and that they have not received the funds from Bida doo yet and for us to deal with them. So again, in contacting **** doo for the release they stated they wanted ******* in late fees before they give us the release, they wanted it that day and stated they would close the deal out due to forfeiture at the end of that day in which they did. Obviously, this was a miscommunication error on their part, and we understand things happen but for them to take no responsibility is wrong. They could have responded to our emails through ***** but they did not. We are asking for an immediate return of the ******, For a company this size to do this is mindboggling. Again, we kept in communication with Bid a doo through the time frame, they knew we were trying to get the information needed and should have responded to our emails though our **** account, but they did not.Business response

On 7/11/23 I purchased a Cat 308 excavator from Bidadoo on ***** The item's listing had a detailed rating of every component on a 1-5 scale. Upon receiving the machine, I noticed that 2 components that were both rated 4, were broken and unusable. This included the bucket having large wear holes in it, and the engine hood not latching due to unrepairable damage. Not only did the sheet metal get rated 4, but it had the comment "some dings and scrapes consistent with age and use." There was no mention of the hood not latching. I reached out ***************************** a salesman that contacted me during the auction to promote the item and to assure me Bidadoo's poor online ratings do not reflect how they do business. I showed him the damage and he agreed with my dispute between the listing and reality, and assured me that his company would make good. Bidadoo will accept a return for a misrepresented item, but ******* told me he spoke with his boss and that they agreed to replace the bucket and help me with the engine hood. I checked in with ******* on multiple occasions and he told me they were looking for a replacement bucket for me. As time went by, he started ignoring my calls and texts, so I reached out to ***** in the main office. ***** spoke to his boss and reached the conclusion that the only help they can offer is for me to return the machine. This is unacceptable because after ******* committed to find me a bucket, I spent time and money on the machine making other improvements and doing maintenance. I was deceived by the misrepresentation of the machine, as well as trick photography and utilization of camera angles. I feel that Bidadoo should honor its representative's word. I was not able to leave feedback on **** for this item, which is interesting seeing that they have 100% positive reviews. ( I have a video of the engine hood not latching, but it is too large to upload.)Business response

While we strive very hard to represent things completely accurately, we understand that inaccurate information might be inadvertently provided. Therefore, we offer a full refund on any item where the description does not materially match the condition as received by the buyer as part of our bidadoo 100% Guarantee. This returns the item to bidadoo for a full refund to the buyer, which is the most fair way we know to settle any potential discrepancies, and understand our team did offer this, and is still on the table. Our guarantee covers:
Return of equipment to selling location for full purchase price refund
Returned in same condition
We understand this is inconvenient for your organization, but are agreeable to still return the item for a full refund, and can assist with transportation in this situation, as we havent been able to find an adequate replacement bucket. Our offer still stands:
Return to bidadoo facility in your area, rather than original location
Assist with shipping cost if you are not satisfied with this machine
While we both hoped it could be fairly straight-forward to find a good replacement bucket, we have been unable to locate an acceptable replacement. You had mentioned previously that the bucket was shown holding water, but we do not see this in the original condition report. Also, this unit was traded into a Cat dealer location, and the bucket was not noted to have a hole. So, while we dont doubt there is a hole, it may well have happened sometime after our condition report was produced.
bidadoo values your business and again apologize about the problems with the machine. I know we have a previous machine and were able to provide a full refund locally for that equipment. If you would still like to keep the machine, we can offer $3,000 towards any repairs of the equipment. We know that this is a small amount compared to potential repairs on a machine of this age, but want to be open to making it right if you felt the machine would still work for you.

I was the successful bidder on a used 2019 Hy-Brid HB-**** Electric Scissor Lift in the amount of $1625. During the bidding process I contacted Bidadoo Logistics for a price on shipping the lift to my location in *********. I was given an estimate of $1026 to $1189. Upon winning the bid I was directed to send a cashier's check for $3429.85, the lift plus $1814.85 for shipping. I sent that amount but asked that they credit me $625.85, the difference from their high-end estimate. Also, when the lift arrived the Upper Control was missing. It was clearly shown on 8 of the **************************************** the description. I noted this on the shipping document and pointed it out to the delivery person. My attempts to resolve this with Bidadoo have been unsatisfactory. They are not willing to stand by their highest shipping quote nor replace the missing control. I now need to purchase the control for an additional $774.48. The increased shipping and purchase of the missing control have added an unexpected $1400.33 to my cost. I feel that this amount should be refunded/reimbursed to me. I did not receive the item as guaranteed and was charged a shipping amount beyond their highest quote.Business response

I did reach out to find out what happened at the back end. It does appear that the seller did remove the control. Please send us a copy of the invoice for the control. Send invoice to ********************************************************* Your message says that it is $774.48.
We will cover the control.
As for the shipping fees, I did check on that, we did ship this to you at cost. There was zero mark ********* So we will not be adjusting that price. What you were charged is what we actually paid the transport company to deliver this to you.
