Date: 6/13/2023 Business Name: Janpath Indian Cuisine Amount Paid: $41.03 My partner and I became very ill after consuming the food I ordered. I have not gotten food poisoning from a restaurant in a long time and felt bad contacting the restaurant about this issue, but I needed to see if they could provide anything. The employee said to call back last week and this week to talk to the manager which I have made a few calls, but each time the manager is not at the restaurant to talk to. However, I spoke with the restaurant today and the employee said to bring in a doctors note to them and he was busy and could not talk to me anymore which I understand. Here are the dates I contacted the restaurant: 6/15/23, 6/16/23, 6/19/23, 6/20/23. I do not have a doctors note since I didn't need hospitalization and am feeling better. Even though we received the food, the quality was not what we expected since we became very ill for 2-3 days. I called the customer service line today 6/20/23 from my credit card, DISCOVER it, around 11:17 AM Pacific Time and the agent said that since I consumed the food that they could not dispute the transaction. The agent mentioned that I could contact the Better Business Bureau and talk to an someone about the situation. After that, I called the Better Business Bureaus and spoke with one of your agents around 11:32 AM Pacific Time today who said that I can receive a refund for this transaction and I was also given the phone number to contact the ********** of ****** to report this issue as well. I did not remember to ask the agent I spoke with from your company for the reference number of our call, but their name was Bibbily from what I remember. I have attached a picture of the receipt from the restaurant as well as a pdf of the statement from my credit card. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide.
